(SA64 0DE) - The Parog cycle path

It was exactly as described, plenty of room and very flat/level. I had a peaceful nights sleep...

Unspektakulär, aber genügend Platz und für eine Nacht vollkommen in Ordnung. Es standen einige Camper dort. Die öffentlichen Toiletten sind zu Fuß erreichbar, nicht schön, aber zweckmäßig.

Ideal für die Fähre (Abfahrt / Ankunft). Ums Eck Einkaufsmöglichkeit und fish & chips

Nach später Ankunft konnten wir unkompliziert das Womo abstellen und die Augen schließen. Ca. 500m von der Fähre entfernt. Die paar LKW haben nicht wirklich gestört.

Functional and spacious. Ideal for a night to or from a ferry, but unappealing otherwise.

Spent 2 days and 1 night here. Lovely park up spot surrounded by other motorhomes waiting to board the ferry. Goodwick is a lovely spot to explore and if you have bikes go further afield

Arrived at 11pm, lots of space available. reasonably flat and quiet, did not get disturbed at all.

Ein großer Parkplatz der perfekt geeignet ist um entspannt die Fähre nach Irland zu bekommen. Wir haben hier eine ziemlich ruhige Nacht verbracht. Vielleicht ein bißchen störend sind die LKW,s die Nachts noch ankommen.

A much appreciated large flat(ish) car park by the ferry terminal to use when we arrived at midnight from Ireland. There were about 20 others vans, couple of trucks. Noise wasn't an issue for us. A number of bins there, the Esso garage has LPG. Small Tesco and Spar 1 minute walk, and nice coastal path walks. Toilet block across the road but we didn't try it.

Perfect for an overnighter for catching the ferry the next day and has nearby toilets and service station and Tesco and a fish and chip shop. But, I can’t say I slept a wink with the constant noise of Lorry’s entering and leaving the carpark and they can sit there idling for a long time before they depart. That’s what drags the rating down.

Ampio parcheggio, tranquillo, gratuito. Vicini market, WC, distributore carburante. Ottimo per passarci la notte. Noi ci abbiamo dormito la notte tra il 2 e il 3 settembre 2023, prima di salpare per l'Irlanda (Fishguard-Rosslare, con Stena Lane).

Good find. quite enough few other vans and a wagon their but please ty of space. ideal for our 2 dogs. Next to rugby and football field for a walk and over the road to the sea front. tesco open u till 11pm and petrol station with Spar open until 9pm with toilet. alo 24hr toilet over the road at the Sea front.

optimaler Übernachtungsplatz, Stellfläche auf Teer, daher bei dem vielen Regen der letzten Zeit optimal, keine V/E, Wasser gabs an der Tankstelle nicht, gut sortierter Tesco direkt daneben, Fish&Chips Laden nebenan zu empfehlen, für so einen Platz erstaunlich ruhig gewesen, kostenlos, kommen wieder, wenn es nach Irland geht

Für die Fähre nach Irland der absolut richtige Stellplatz. Nicht schön und auch nicht leise, aber optimal gelegen, um vor der 01:30 Uhr Fähre noch mal kurz etwas Augenpflege zu betreiben. Bording ist min. 60 Minuten vor Abfahrt.

Wir haben hier eine Nacht sehr ruhig gestanden, da alle Parkplätze an der Seaside ein Overnight Verbot haben. Empfehlung auf der Seite zu der Sportsgrounds stehen. Morgens etwas LKW Verkehr.

silencieux, silencieux, c'est vite dit si on habite en bordure d'autoroute....le ventilateur du car wash a la station fait un bruit d'enfer.les voitures vont et viennent a longueur de temps...les portes claquent...nous sommes partis en peine nuit un poids lourd faisait démarrer sa clim pendant des heures avant de partir....avant dormi sur la parking en face.ras...

Ottimo parcheggio per il traghetto per Rosslare, gratuito senza servizi.

parfait pour passer la nuit avant le ferry. station avec possibilité remplir bouteille gaz( si vous avez l adaptateur) commerce à côté. pas de bruits la nuit à 2 pas de la jetée pour une balade.

Haben hier 3 Nächte verbracht. Der Platz ist super, durch Nähe zum Fähranleger muss mit LKWs gerechnet werden, die hier ebenfalls die Nacht verbringen. Wir mussten 2 Nächte mit Transportern mit laufenden Generatoren klar kommen. Würden aber wiederkommen, da Vorteile überwiegend. Fester Boden, nah am Strand, Wasser an Tankstelle, Toilette am Aquarium, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Bushaltestelle.

Nice and quiet. You can fill your tank with water at the service station out front.

Not a bad place to park. Free public toilets open 24hr across the road, cracking chippy and Tesco express. The garage there also has LPG. You can walk down the slipway and swim. Downside was it was very noisy. Lots of trucks park up, which is fine, but a refrigerated one was there running it’s generator night and day.

Great stopover plenty of Motorhomes. Triathlon on the next day across the way so plenty of vans. Tesco express 07.00 to 23.00 a spar and restaurants in walking distance.

Stayed here last night, basic car park near port. Surprisingly quiet, quite a few campervan staying. Nice pub grub a short walk away. Toilets on front 2 min walk away looked and smelt dirty but garage has toilets open late and from 7am if your buying anything. Would stay there again.

Very handy stop over for ferry. Very large parking area, no height restrictions and easy access. The chiller of a truck was running intermittently over night, but that was the only sound. Man came emptying the bins around 10am, and he took our rubbish bag.

As per previous comments, great overnight stay before getting the ferry. Close to shops, beach etc. Coastal paths each way from the town for great views. Will definitely use again if we come this way. Tip: park away from the buildings as the car wash makes a bit of noise but only during the day.

Good place tesco express , chip shop, and public toilets across the rd ( out of main entrance and across rd). Peaceful night a little traffic noise but overall really good. Big thank you to owner of car park for being generous and open minded

Fantastic over night parking for free!

Großer Platz, eben. Wer sich an dem manchmal lautstarken Fährbetrieb stört, sollte woanders suchen.

Ergänzen möchten wir, dass es an der Esso-Tankstelle (Parkplatz ist auf der Rückseite der Tankstelle) auch LPG/GPL gibt......

Mooie, vlakke, grote en rustige plek. Tesco en tankstation (met een drinkwaterpunt) om de hoek. Je kunt er tennissen. En ook naar t water… incl een leuke winkel en horeca gelegenheid. Mocht je naar Ierland (Rosslare) willen kun je voorafgaand of na afloop van jouw ferrytocht hier prima overnachten.

Wir haben hier übernachtet um am nächsten Tag mit der Fähre zu fahren. Positiv: Kostenlos Nähe zur Fähre sehr viel Platz Nachts ruhig Asphaltiert der Stand ist auf der andern Straßenseite am Strand öffentliche Toiletten 24/7 Tesco mit Kaffee/ Croissant gegenüber Restaurant mit Fish and Chips gegenüber tolle Gassi - Möglichkeit Negativ: nichts Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten :-)

After we got off the ferry late we rolled up here with other trucks and vans, for a free stop next to a busy port we must have been lucky as we had a really peaceful night after the trucks finished parking.

spent last night here and staying tonight. very quiet night and good in the day with friendly locals, good for walking the dog also. 2 minutes away is the sea with great views.

The car park can be found at the back of the Esso garage, signs on the road state free parking. Loads of space and other motorhomes there. A quiet night.

Excellent stopover, close to toilets, good couple of shops, bus stop to St David's, safe place and free. Couple of cars coming and going during the evening but only youngsters didn't bother us.

Excellent place to park overnight for the ferry port. Literally a minutes drive to or from the port. Not the prettiest but a minutes walk is the beach with stunning views and there are public toilets there too.

Great place to park overnight. Close to pebble beach and loads of walks, toilets short walk away, short walk up hill to town and lots of dog friendly pubs. Would definitely come here again.

Free parking. brilliant nights sleep. no signs anywhere to say you can't sleep over. what more do you need? 3 local pubs. free toilets. spar and tesco express 2 mins away. lovely views of sea over the road. highly recommended

Loads of parking and fairly quiet. 2 min walk to local toilets (that appear to be 24hr) and Tesco express. FREE parking on a level car park, so no frills, but it’s free

Large parking area used by Lorries and cars using the Fishguard to Rosslare ferry, also used by people using the sports facilities to the rear. Nice and quiet after 2100, had a peaceful night, would recommend as a stopover. Certainly worth walking along the coastal path around Fishguard to the Lower town.

A good spot in many ways but the boy racers are a pain... beeped us 3 Van's about 12.30 am and started doing doughnuts soon after. I'm sure it would scare some it was so loud. would stay again tho, we spent 2 nights

Good spot for just a night sleep. fairly quiet, the odd boy racer till 11pm. sleep till 8.30am no problem.

Great overnighted, free and lots of space. Literally a stones throw from sea. Some noise overnight of lorries arriving to car park from overnight ferry but nothing significant

Spent 2 very quiet nights here. Right behind a Spar, small Tesco and fuel station with LPG. Very handy large free car park.

Für das Warten auf die Fähre völlig ok.Ein Supermarkt in 50 Meter Entfernung.Ebenso eine Tankstelle.

Large, level and very safe feeling, yes. Quiet, NO! Spent a very restless night here. The shop’s generators/refrigeration unit turn on and off all night long and there are lorries arriving and leaving, their engines running for heating/doing their checks. Wouldn’t stay again.

Ce parking est payant du 1er mars au 31 octobre et n'est ouvert que de 9h à 19h.

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi ce parking ne dispose que de 2 étoiles. Certes, il y a plus glamour, ce n'est qu'un grand parking goudronné, mais il a le mérite d'être plat, gratuit (ce qui est rare dans ce royaume, calme la nuit, et proche des commerces. Bonne couverture réseau également. Il y a même la possibilité d'utiliser les toilettes de la station service, si on le demande.

Good nights sleep. 2 other motorhomes there when we arrived and lots of lorries. very handy for ferry. spar well stocked with holiday supplies, even fishing gear.

Goodwick moor lorry park is a better description than a cycle path. hgv/lkw parking.
