Excellent accueil par ce couple irlandais très chaleureux et attentionné ! grand merci camping car installé sur leur propriété, électricité et eau à disposition pour seulement 15€. Vue sur l'océan et les montagnes ! recommandons ce b&b au logement fabuleux.

The host Ger was charming. Water is available at his house across the road. Use of showers at the B&B when not booked out. Ahakista is a beautiful spot. Both pubs have great outdoor seating areas overlooking the peninsula. Spectacular.

An ok spot with no views and mainly uneven ground that even chock blocks would struggle, but in an area that’s tight on welcoming overnight stays it will do. €10 the night on a rough layby opposite the house. Nice pub in walking distance. The owner offered us a shower not sure if this was an extra charge.

A very convenient overnight parking, within a few steps of Arundel's lovely pub (excellent food) and a short stroll to the 'bohemian' Heron Café and Art gallery. Swim in the pristine waters opposite Arundel's or head- off on a scenic hike on the many well-marked trails of the Sheep's Head Peninsula. Your friendly host, Ger, of the B&B opposite, will help out with water and information.

Im Grunde kein Stellplatz, sondern einfach der Parkplatz gegenüber der Ahakista Lodge- aber perfekt gelegen. Ein wundervolles Pub in Laufnähe (es gibt eine Abkürzung, die nicht an der Straße entlangführt), schön ruhig und beschaulich. Die Besitzer sind wundervolle Menschen! Gegen Aufpreis kann man die sanitären Einrichtungen nutzen, Wasser ist auch verfügbar. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!

Really not worth €10 for a rough sloping parking area with no view and absolutely no facilities. There are better places further west.

Ein sehr angenehmer Ort für eine Übernachtung in dieser Gegend. Der Eigentümer ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es steht eine Gartenbank mit schöner Aussicht zur Verfügung. Gute Empfehlung! Tip: Auf das Hausfoto achten, es gibt nur eine kleines Schild mit dem Namen an der linken Säule der Einfahrt.

Parking area opposite a private house with a BnB. The hosts are very nice. Easy to fill up with water and the owner also took our garbage for us. Short walk to a good pub. Yes, it’s €10, but there are not many options in the area and the owners make an effort to be very welcoming. Worth it to stay somewhere nice instead of driving around looking for somewhere!

Nous avons contacté Ger par SMS pour nous assurer que c'est ouvert. Le B&B n'ouvre que début mai, donc pas de petit déjeuner possible, mais pas de souci pour le stationnement du camping-car, moyennant 10€. Remplissage de la cuve d'eau (gratuitement) en allant à l'arrière du bâtiment. Très bons conseils de Ger pour les promenades et bars. Magnifique trajet de 16 km à vélo jusqu'à Sheep's Head.

I do not see it to pay 10 euro for a place without any service. A few minutes drive further there are more beautiful opportunities to be added free of charge and it is also accepted.

The list of services described for this site is not accurate. The site is a sloping pull-in across the road from a B&B, with no services. I was able to top up my water by driving round the back of the B&B, but there is nowhere to empty a toilet cassette and no shower or ehu. Owner is very nice and helpful. I paid €10, but eventually decided to move on and spend the night somewhere more scenic.

Excellent spot for a few quiet nights. Car park right next to Ahakista BandB. 10 euro a night. Ger the owner was very helpful and also took our rubbish. We had a delicious full Irish breakfast at the BandB. Walking distance from Arundel by the pier Pub and Restaurant. Walking distance from lovely sheltered little beach. Plenty of looped walks nearby.
