Noche tranquila, recomendable
Entrez dans l'aire de repos au large de l'A120 en direction ouest (vers Braintree). Il y a une barrière de hauteur de 3m. Suivez la route à gauche (la route à droite est pour les camions sans barrière de hauteur). Il y a un bloc sanitaire qui ouvre à env. 6h30 et ferme à env. 18h30. Il y a aussi un café pendant la journée. Un peu de bruit de la route, mais il est suffisamment éloigné de la route principale pour ne pas causer de problème. Excellent signal 4G (Vodafone). Si vous venez chercher quelqu'un à l'aéroport de Stansted, il y a une autre aire de repos du côté ouest qui est idéale pour attendre.
Enter the rest area off the East bound A120 (towards Braintree). There is a height barrier of 3.1m. Follow the road in on the left (the road on the right is for trucks with no height barrier). There is a toilet block that opens at approx. 6:30am and closes at approx. 6:30pm. There is also a cafe during the day. Some road noise, but it’s far enough away off the main road not to cause a problem. Great 4G signal (Vodafone). If you are picking someone up from Stansted Airport, there is another rest area on the West bound side which is ideal for waiting.

Derandkath08/08/2025very large rest area. bays big enough for campers. toilets locked overnight. insufficient bins/not emptied often enough (full when we arrived). amazing large bacon baps with 3x bacon for £4. it's a no brainer- gotta use if nearby.

Passamos algumas noite nesta rest area e foi super tranquilo, tem banheiros que ficam abertos durante o dia e também uma torneira externa, a água não é potável, mas é uma ótima opção para a caixa d’água. Não tivemos problema e foi bem silencioso durante a noite

don't follow the sat nav post code it takes up behind the park up into a field then fenced off .. bottomed my car out in the field.. enter off the a120 other than that a great park up once u get in there !!

I had a fairly quiet night here last night. A few other vans were there. Lots of toilet paper littering the place from being caught short at night, probably due to the locked toilets.

Fine for a required stop over, large parking area at side of A120 so expect traffic noise, plenty of other vans, wagons and people sleeping in cars so felt very secure. Toulets open during day, they were open at 6.30am, roadside cafe of site again open at 6.30. Height barrier open at time of visit

Simple et pratique. Pas mal de passage mais plus calme durant la nuit. Toilettes fermées la nuit mais dispo et propres vers 7h environ. Super cabane avec de quoi bien déjeuner. On est arrivé tard mais il y avait encore bien assez de place.

I stay here regularly as do other vanlifers and it's always a good place to stay. Of course you do get other vehicles arriving and leaving during the night, but generally it's quiet. There are toilets and the trucker cafe is open most days.

Très bien pour dormir sur le pouce en sécurité.Finalement assez calme durant la nuit. Assez à l’écart du trafic. Quelques tables de pique-nique, toilettes, petit snack qui propose petit déjeuner sandwich et burgers.

Actually about 30 car spaces, was almost empty in November. Whole site very clean and looked after, toilets have actual toilet paper! At night well lit so you do need window covers to block light plus some noise from expressway but all fine for overnight stop.

Rest stop, newly renovated by Highway standards agency with picnic benches and disabled spaces. Toilet closed at night. lots of bins. Tap on side of toilet block. Burger van weekdays. Great spot akin to a French Aires. 2m height barrier, was open, but truck stop next door if closed. can imagine ANPR/payment/time limited will get installed cos nothing good for ordinary people stays free for long.
