My favourite place on Skye, totally beautiful surrounds with private bay. Road down is full of potholes but I was okay in a minivan going slowly. Didn’t see the farmer but did see the sheep but there are no signs against campervans they just down want the grass damaged by tents and fires.
Absolutely astonishing place to stay! The road is kind of a village one and there is a gate which you have to open And close carefully but the view is definitely worth seeing. We saw people wandering there and even someone went from there for a rock climbing.
Campen Verboten Schild und eine ganz üble Straße. Man sollte das Verbot respektieren... Fahrt die etwas größere Straße weiter Richtung Elgol da kommen noch viele tolle Plätze, direkt am Wasser und in den Hügeln...
Magnifique vue, plusieurs campers et campervans. La route est difficile d'accès. Pas de signal. Attention, un panneau indique que le camping et parking n'y est pas toléré
Two stars because of the nice view. BUT the road to this spot is in really bad condition. Narrow single track, no passing places, there's swamp land right and left the road. With lots of deep potholes. NOT go there with anything bigger than a bus. Heeps of midges. No signal. A sign actually says "No Camping". Talked to a farmer who was passing by, they are fed up by the campers.

Superbe endroit ! Plage d’herbe et de galet face à la mer ; seul au monde face à la mer et à la montagne ; vraiment sublime ! La route pour y aller à quelques trous mais avec un van aucun soucis ! Superbe nuit et superbe réveil
Wunderschöner Platz direkt am Meer mit Sicht auf die Berge. Besser geht's fast nicht!
Ein super schöner Stellplatz, umzingelt von Schafen die man stundenlang beobachten kann. Achtet darauf euren und den Müll von anderen mitzunehmen, am Strand wird genug Müll angespült, ne Mülltonne zum entsorgen ist aufn Weg.
Ein wirklich sehr schöner Platz! Wir standen hier sowohl am Anfang als auch am Ende unserer Skye-Tour jeweils eine Nacht. Die Anfahrt ist hart, die Straße wirklich sehr schlecht. Auf keinen Fall mit Wohnmobil zu befahren, mit einem Van gehts aber. Der Wind spült einiges an Fischerei-Müll in die Bucht - schnappt euch eine Mülltüte und sammelt mal ne Stunde. Sehr meditativ und gut fürs Gewissen :)
Wir wollten hier vor ein paar Tagen übernachten. Leider versperrte ein geschlossenes Tor die Zufahrt.
Einer der schönsten Orte an den wir je übernachtet haben. super klares Wasser und tolle Aussicht. mit Schafen um den Camper aufgewacht. Bitte sauber halten!
This can be a lovely spot for the night but be aware this track is in rough condition and once you are on it, you are committed. Smaller vans only really. Without exaggeration it is one van wide with no passing places so the main fear is meeting another van/tractor. You can swim in stoney sea but midges are an issue here. Beware the sheep and the cowpats! By the loch beyond Torrin is less stress.
Beautiful little spot. Was very windy but had the whole place to ourselves.
Amazing spot, with so much room for separate spots for people. There’s one large space to fit 5-6 vehicles then a little further along the bay another 3-4 spots for 1 space each. I recommend heading that bit further down as I had it to myself with a view over the bay and mountains. Got woken to a calf wobbling my car in the morning having a wee scratch which was a great way to start the day. Will definitely be returning. Remember leave no trace!
Amazing spot when you get along the road. road is full of potholes. used by the cows and sheep to graze so there was quite a bit of animal poo to camp around. really quite and rhe views over Blenva amazing.
The photos dont do this spot justice. The road in is in really poor condition and we caught the bottom of the van (an un-lowered VW T5) a couple of times. Totally worth the drive in though. Midges were quite bad when the sun went down and the wind stopped though!
Disappointed to leave a 3 star review as it was just perfect... until the midges arrived. Avoid on a still, hot day. we were bothered from 6.30pm and forced inside at 8 due to the little blighters. Then morning it was the same story. the beach, location and space available are all incredible.
Literally one of the best park parks I’ve ever stayed at! The track leading to it does have rather large potholes, and if your van is lowered, be prepared to scrape it a few times! But in my opinion it’s absolutely worth it! Surrounded by sea and mountains! No midges when we were there and not a peep of phone signal (which was bliss for the night) please leave no trace!
One of the best spots we’ve stayed at!! 4G can come and go at different spots, didn’t have a problem with any midges, lush scenery and we met all the cows around our van the following morning
Massive potholes on the way!!! (and midges). beautiful view. large space with flat gravel next to grass field for sheeps to graze(a lot of sheep poo). stayed on 2 separate nights and had a few more campers but pleanty of space

Amazing! Ok, the last mile of the road was difficult it’s very narrow and massive pot holes! But my Transit LWB managed it very slowly, and the reward you get is stunning! Beautiful blue sea and mountain view and so peaceful but even had 4G on EE. Farmer came to field sheep in morning as lambing very friendly cannot believe it’s free
Great spot! Very peaceful and flat. A bit rocky getting down so drive slowly. I was the only van amongst the sheep. Beach lovely. Nice walk along the coast!

Absolutely love this spot. Stunning views and very peaceful. Please leave no trace and don't light fires. The shepherd is fed up of tourists leaving rubbish behind and moving stones and logs up to make fires. Understandable given there are his sheep everywhere. Stunning though, enjoy it!
Loved it here, can't wait to visit again. Beautiful scenery and walks. I had no mobile signal there with three.

Nice location, woke up with a horde of cheeps marching down the lane.
Had a great and calm night there. Access no problem for vans, maybe not suitable for motorhomes. There are sheep everywhere, so keep that in mind if you have a dog. We uploaded a photo of the sign; as far as I understand it means only park on the gravel and no campfires. So please respect that and take you litter guys! We found lots of plastic on the ground...

Magnifique baie. Le calme absolu. De la place mais ne pas se garer dans les pâturages. Des moutons et des oiseaux. Petit paradis. La route est jonchée de grandes ornières mais en roulant lentement ça passe.
Sehr schwierige Zufahrt. Tiefe Schlaglöcher. Einspurig. Nicht geeignet für große Wohnmobile. Bus ok.

Beautiful and remote. Not easy to find a safe spot since the new signs have gone up stating this is grazing land only. Farmers/shepherds use the rough road 24/7 and are not very happy with campers here. Someone was actually camped on part of the road when I visited. The farmer in his 4×4 was not impressed. I would not camp here again.
We absolutly loved it there. A bumpy road to get there! Wir haben den Ort geliebt. Die Strasse ist sehr holperig.
They have posted a new sign "the green pasture ahead is reserved for livestock grazing not for camping". Since the grass starts right beside the road, that basically means "no camping".

Beautiful place to stay, well worth the bumpy ride. Quiet with views over the sea
Quiet, spectacular views and sheltered. This is a great spot to overnight. No services though, and the access road is very rough so come prepared, drive with care and leave it as clean as you found it.
Nice spot. Very quiet at night (windy). Last part is off road. NO network connection... for those who need facebook ;-)

Emplacement très tranquille car voie sans issue. Juste quelques randonneurs à partir de 9h. On n'échappe pas aux midges mais le cadre en vaut vraiment le détours. Aucun service, cadre sauvage exceptionnel.
L'endroit est magnifique, on a juste eu la malchance de choisir une nuit de tempête, le van secoué toute la nuit, mais ça devait être pareil de l'autre côté de l'île. Fantastique vue sur les sommets enneigés au réveil cependant. Beautiful place, but bad timing, we got a storm all night shaking the van, but it was all over the island. Fantastic view on snowy mountains in the morning though !

Juste parfait! Bel environnement, super calme, vue magnifique le soir et le matin, randonnee. Et feu de camps possible, bref... Que du bonheur.
