Stayed in Feb, other vans nearby and away from main road. Fairly exposed to high winds but wasn’t an issue. Found the location convenient due to proximity central Greenock and to major shops, cafes and a pub at the entrance to the Quay.
Single night for us here. Sitting amongst a dozen other vans. This made us feel very safe. The harbour is peaceful with cooling breeze on that hot night. This location is very close to Greenock town centre. Close to pubs and food. Bins but no other facilities. You can turn around on the sea wall. It was is and wide. This is a safe bet for your stop off.
brilliant spot beside the water, very quiet at night during the week. great to do some fishing. had friendly chat with a camper who lives there. pub and supermarket nearby
Lovely spot by the docks, couple of fishermen fishing when we arrived but most had gone by 8pm. Quiet during the night. Few other campervans /motor homes parked up. Had food & drinks in the pub nearby & went to Morrisons on the other side of the road before we left. We felt safe parked here overnight.
Wir haben links von den Docks geparkt. Und jemanden wir Ort gefragt kein Problem ne Nacht dort zu stehen. Etwas Verkehr in der Woche ein paar Angler und Fußgänger. Die Nacht war sehr ruhig. Schöner Ausblick

Great spot for a night. Nearby Morrisons and shops. No sign of no overnight parking.
Pub close by and supermarket across road. Quite a bit of road noise and locals doing night time fishing but latter didn’t disturb us.

Spent the night here, peaceful, great views, only downside, no facilities, apart from that, had a great peaceful night sleep, there was a fun fair but it all stopped at 9pm, supermarket, bar with food all close by.
Ganz am Ende der Docks ist es tagsüber toll, wir haben sogar ne Robbe gesehen, sind allerdings dann kurz vor Mitternacht wieder gefahren-tatsächlich viel Autoverkehr dort (und das waren keine Angler). Direkt neben dem Restaurant ist es vielleicht besser. Wir haben einen anderen Spot aufgesucht, bei dem das Sicherheitsgefühl größer war

Stayed here last night, nice and quiet car park on the harbour, right next to a pub Hungry Horse Tail O’ The Bank (doesn’t allow dogs in but plenty of outside tables). Morrisons across the road.
Great parkup,very peaceful to say you are on the edge of the town center . really handy for the Morrisons and Lidl supermarket. no bins or services. there are a few abandoned vehicles here so no one minds you parking. nice view across the harbour.
