(24190) Moulin de la Veyssiere
A water mill dating from the 16th century, the Moulin de la Veyssière is the last active oil mill in the Vallée du Vern in Neuvic-sur-l'Isle. It was in 1857 that Jacques Elias bought the Veyssière mill. Since then, from generation to generation, we have perpetuated the artisanal production of oil and flour with character: walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds and peanuts. A true living heritage, a place of life and sharing, a visit to the Veyssière mill will take you on a journey between history and gastronomy.
Free visit and tasting offered. Open all year round from Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. In July and August Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Before settling in for the night, please introduce yourself to the mill reception to make yourself known. We will show you where to settle!
