Haben an einem Freitag Abend im Juli einen Platz gefunden, um Delfine am Chanonry Point zu beobachten. Man muss ehrlicher Weise sagen, man steht halt direkt neben den anderen Campern auf dem Campingplatz.
Parking pour 3 véhicules sur gravier. Nuit interdite. Gratuit. Juste à côté du camping. À 1 km du phare de Chanonry où l'on peut souvent voir des dauphins. Alternative si le parking du phare est plein.
Parking for 3 vehicles on gravel. Overnight prohibited. Free. Right next to the campsite. 1 km from Chanonry Lighthouse where dolphins can often be seen. Alternative if the parking lot at the lighthouse is full.

Perfect for a day time visit to Chanonry Point where motor homes / larger vehicles are not permitted. Plus it’s free, right on the beach and directly next to the footpath along the golf course. Views are great and phone signal good. Only caution is, in the snow, the roads in to this parking spot are not gritted and can be quite slippery so approach with care.

ReinerReisdorf24/07/2023Perfekt um ca. 1,5 km zur Landspitze zu spazieren. Aber um 16 Uhr waren die Delfine schon weg. Daher war wohl auch ein Parkplatz frei.

A small, free spot next to a camp site for short day stops. If you get here early enough it’s an absolute blinder for the dolphin spotting.

Small gravelled area next to the campsite that's free. Could fit a few campers in. Good spot to park as you can't take larger vehicles to the main Chanonry Point car park. Short 10-15min walk via the golf course to hopefully s the dolphins. Check tide times for best chance of seeing them. 1hr after low tide. Single track road to get there.

Short stay free parking. Fine for any size vehicle. Sign specifies it’s short term to allow people to go to Chanonry Point.

Car park for 5-6 vehicles. Nice little walk to the lighthouse. No commodities. No overnight parking.
