Situation calme sur le bord de la rive du fleuve. Pas de parking ou de restrictions de hauteur. Les fourgonnettes de camping petites et moyennes s'intègreront parfaitement dans les baies, mais les fourgonnettes plus longues devront heurter la roue avant sur le chemin (nous le devions et le fourgon était toujours de niveau) et ne le bloquait pas. Accès facile à la rivière pour le SUP ou les kayaks. Petit supermarché et magasins à emporter à seulement 5 minutes à pied, 30 minutes à pied du centre-ville de Cambridge.
Quiet location on the edge of the river bank. No parking or height restrictions. Small and medium camper vans will fit perfectly in the bays but longer camper vans will need to bump front wheel up on the path (we had to and the van was still level) and doesn’t block the path. Easy access onto the river for SUP or kayaks. Small supermarket and takeaway shops only a 5 minute walk, 30 minute walk to Cambridge city centre.
Ruhige Lage am Rande des Flussufers. Keine Park- oder Höhenbeschränkungen. Kleine und mittelgroße Wohnmobile passen gut in die Buchten, aber längere Wohnmobile müssen das Vorderrad im Weg treffen (wir mussten und der Van war immer noch waagerecht) und es nicht blockieren. Einfacher Zugang zum Fluss für SUP oder Kajaks. Kleiner Supermarkt und Take-Away-Läden nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß, 30 Minuten zu Fuß vom Stadtzentrum von Cambridge entfernt.

I stayed here last night and it was really great. I was the only campervan but there were a few cars parked up. Felt very safe. Quite a lot of passing traffic until about Midnight. Woke up this morning to a bunch of people rowing! I have a long wheelbase Transit and it fit in perfectly. It wouldn’t be practical for a big motorhome or Crafter/Sprinter. Nice 40 min walk along the river into the city
wir haben in der Woche hier gestanden. Es war okay. einwenig laut aber mir Ohropax geht es . sonst wunderschön an dem Fluss gelegen. nicht weit von der Innenstadt. Bus Verbindung super.
Arrivé vers 21h sur le spot, des trottinettes étaient jonchées par terre au bout du parking. Vers 23h on a essayé d’ouvrir mon van alors que j’étais dedans. Se renseigner car le quartier n’est pas le plus sûr de la ville. Je déconseille donc.
Coin bucolique au bord de la rivière assez restreint (max van de 6m.). Assez bruyant car au bord d'une route bien fréquentée. Piste cyclable pour aller au centre ou en campagne. Je dirai 2 places max pour pas encombrer.
we didn't feel comfortable staying for the night with our 6,5 m camper. There runs a bikepath right in front of the P, it was very busy and we think we would take to much space for normal cars who have to park there too. and we would stay in front of houses which are just on the other side of the road. we would block their view on the riverside, and we don't like to annoy other people.
Lovely area.. only about 8 spaces and small spaces. No height restrictions. Can back right onto river and watch the swans and rowers go by. Quite busy in the day and evening but quiet enough at night. Tesco, Chinese and chip shop 5 minutes away. Managed to get a Costa delivered in the morning! Cracking site.
Krásně situované parkoviště. Na volné místo je třeba mít štěstí. Centrum je poměrně vzdálené, ale kolem řeky Cam vede příjemná cesta. Po řece se prohánějí sportovni veslice a labutě. Ráno je místo poměrně hlučné vlivem dopravního ruchu.
Lots going on in the early evening - loads of rowers and their coaches which wasn't quiet but enjoyable to watch. Warm spring evening so very busy. Quietened right down after 11pm and got a good night's sleep, and felt quite safe. Would only work for small vehicles really and mine isn't exactly stealth, but no hostility.

Man muss schon viel Glück haben, einen Parkplatz zu ergattern, weil es eigentlich ein PKW-Parkplatz direkt an der Cam an einer viel befahrenen Ortseinfahrt ist. Wir standen mit unserem Kastenwagen 2 Nächte da. Für größere Womo's nicht geeignet. Die Innenstadt ist mit dem Fahrrad super schnell erreichbar.
there is not 10 spots available you're lucky if you can find one. and it's not suitable for larger vehicles.
Mooie pek met veel activiteit op het water( roeiers op de CAM) fietsers wandelaars……wel veel verkeer maar ook mooi wandelpad langs de rivier. Leuke pub/inn dichtbij met terras aan het water en goed eten. Ongeveer 30 min lopen van centrum .
Free, flat and nice views of the canal. Road was a little busy but I would 100% recommend and would come back again.
Avoid this spot, looks nice by the river but generally a dodgy/rough area of Cambridge.
Decided to stay in this spot for the last night in Cambridge before we went back down south, after living in the city for a year. There were quite a few cars zooming up and down the road next to it most of the time we were there. Then at 3am we were woken up by some young guys banging on the side of the van. Turns out the driver’s side cab door was open and someone had tried to get into the van while we sleeping. Luckily nothing was missing (including my partner’s v expensive camera and lens), but obvs shook us up and we had to move.
Veilig stekje voor wanneer nood aan een nachtelijke rust op doortocht. Geen voorzieningen, enkel een staanplaats. Geen problemen gehad. Enkel wat geluid van de passerende auto’s. Ok!
