Spent a night in 2025 with my dog. I'm from Manchester and didn't know this gem existed not far from me. Stunning views. Reasonably priced too compared to other sites. Clean facilities. Will be back in 2026.
Un petit camping à la ferme où nous avons dormi une nuit, vidangés et rechargés en eau. Rustique mais pratique. La douche et les toilettes sont neuves.
Réception ouverte de 8h à 20h. Départ avant 12h.
A small campsite on the farm where we slept a night, drained and recharged with water. Rustic but practical. The shower and toilet are new.
Reception open 8am-8pm. Departure by 12 noon.
Ein kleiner Campingplatz auf dem Bauernhof, auf dem wir eine Nacht schliefen, Wasser ablassen und auftanken konnten. Rustikal, aber praktisch. Dusche und Toilette sind neu.
Rezeption von 8 bis 20 Uhr geöffnet. Abreise bis 12 Uhr.

mzellho24/08/2025Came here spontaneously. lovely and quiet site, spacious, with showers, water, grey water disposal, etc.. came a bit too late, felt welcome. no food in the nearby pub after 8pm - they do have crisps (cannot recommend salt & vinegar).
MontyTheMagnificent24/08/2025Relaxed farm site in a lovely setting, marred only by the road which is busy. Ground is pretty firm & after a day of rain, we were fine. Note: if you have a continental van you will be asked to park nose in. Friendly staff. Clean toilets and shower cubicles. A nice 20 minute walk to Greenfield Station (and Tesco) along the canal. Visited family in Manchester. Doubt we’d stay otherwise.

prachtig verzorgde camping! sanitair in containerunits en heerlijke douches. zeer vriendelijk eigenaars, die je ook de goedkoopste formule zullen aanrekenen. (wij reizen met trailertent en losse tent voor de kinderen) goede uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen en een bezoek aan Manchester

this is a lovely campsite payed £27 with electric hook up. it has 5 combind showers and toilets. lovely grounds and views we visited on 14/08/2025. would recommend

Lovely campsite with stunning views! Spacious pitches and only paid £22 for 2 adults with a van. Only annoying thing is the sanitary facilities are individual shower and toilet cubicles which means the toilets get taken by people showering it would be better if the toilets were separate to the showers.

Got refused a booking because our conversion doesn’t have side windows. Lady on the phone was not sorry and borderline rude.
highlandbear22/09/2023Site has all basic requirements,facilities clean enough ,be aware if you have visitors as we did they will charge you £3 / adult £2 /child and £2/car !! Absolutely shocking never experienced that in my life and they came and basically told family to leave as it was after 8.oo pm . The site is fairly regimented cannot do this cannot do that sort of thing ,will not be back

nous avons passé deux nuits, acceptés sans réservation. Personnes très gentilles, sanitaires et douches propres et chauffées. Très belle vue. Nous avons payé 31 euros par nuit en étant 3 adultes et 2 ados avec une tente .

11/10 - run by a lovely family, beautiful site and lovely views. Ring ahead to book as they get busy at weekends! Our fave go to spot, think it always will be! Showers and toilets are so clean, modern and hot! Reception has a lovely farm shop with toiletries, veggies, local produce. Hard standing, grass and adults only field available all with EHU and water. Washers and dryers at extra cost.

Excellent site, lovely helpful friendly owners. Small farm shop onsite, nice canal walks nearby and various pubs within an easy walk. Will definitely visit again. Great for families and couples. Suitable for the full range of campers, tents, MHs and Caravans.

I know this site very well. Much improved with the new owners/managers. Great facilities, everything you need is within walking distance, restaurants, pubs, bars, shops, cafes etc etc. Beautiful walks and scenery x
