Comfortable stopover and easy to book; elsan facility which is rare to find in this part of the world without going to a proper campsite!! £12.83 pn when booking in advance. Noise from the railway line but this stops at night. Corbridge 10 minutes walk and Valley Indian restaurant 1 minute away.

Black waste in far corner past the stand. Fresh water & a milk machine (local dairy herd), village 10 min walk with pubs, restaurants, cafe, the Pele Tower pub next to the church is very quirky and old! Paid £12 for one night stay, will return, lovely area, friendly folk.

Elsan disposal & freshwater available along near the clubhouse and groundsman buildings. Easy walk into Corbridge and some excellent pubs. Roman site nearby & dog walks near the river.

Great overnight stop at £10 per night. We stopped a couple of times. Several vans here. Elsan disposal point and fresh water tap.

Owned by Tynedale RFC. They charge £10 for 24hr stopovers. (Payable on website, or by honesty box). There are toilets in clubhouse (when open). There's also bins, water tap and (more importantly as few and far between in England) an Elsan point. A short walk into pretty Corbridge Town and Corbridge Roman Town. A great little stopover.

Great spot, an easy cycle, or walk, into pretty town of Corbridge. Lots of vans there over night, nice pub and Indian (pricey end of Indians), large green space next to car park to walk dogs. Trains only noticable when they brake to arrive at station, but we were there over weekend so probably quieter.

  • 5/5

Lovely, peaceful stop right next to a pub and Indian takeaway so no cooking required! The village was beautiful with loads of independent shops. The train station is nearby but not intrusive.

  • 5/5

Very quite nights sleep, a few cars turned around and some train noise. trains stopped at 10 till 07. restaurant and pub close by, we chose to eat at the pub and food was good and well priced.

  • 5/5

Decent sized and quiet car park, only one other camper van there whilst we stayed. Would recommend The Valley Indian restaurant next door too!! Next to the train station but only heard the first train around 8.30am so didn’t bother us.

  • 5/5

Perfect out of the way parking for the night. Corbridge is a picturesque town. Nice pubs and plenty of good restaurants.

  • 4/5

Arrived in the dark 09/11/19 so we ended up in the huge car park behind the rugby club stadium. Loads of space and only 2 trains passed the whole night so was very peaceful. Car park is not tarmac so shoes and the dog carried a lot of dirt back into the ‘van. Definitely recommend though.

Beautiful large flat area and true about squirrels but not quite so quiet as it’s next to main railway line
