This is an amazing place for a stopover. There is free EHU, but you will need a 16a camping plug adapter. Water is available, grey water disposal is available but no black waste disposal. This is a dog and children freindly place with plenty of outdoor space. The food is good vaue for money, especially on the lunchtime deal which extends to 5pm. The pub closes at 10pm, so all quiet after then.

We rang and booked a table and asked if we could stay. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Food was nice. Would stay again.

Good place to stay for a night. We asked at the pub if we could stay with our campervan and they said no problem. We enjoyed a lovely meal and a couple of drinks in the pub. Would stay here again if passing through.

Traditional style pub with very decent food. Staff really friendly and tables can be booked on line for the restaurant as can motorhome pitches. Motorhome area is behind the main carpark and is relatively level patch of flattened, crushed tarmac. The EHU has 2 outlets but we didn't use them. Narrow gauge railway behind the pub which appears to run at weekends. Barn Owl gave us a flying display!

Very easy to park, only one electric hook up . Staff inside pub very accommodating and the food was very good.

Great stop on own in campervan area, good friendly welcome & food was enjoyed too (check online as different offers daily) . Arrived in afternoon so checked out walks through fields from pub where lots wildlife was seen.

Nice, quiet night in the mh parking, with ehu. lovely food in the restaurant at reasonable price.

Great place for a night stop. Couldn't call ahead as it went to the answerphone every time but parked in the car park anyway, had a word with the friendly staff, confirming it was no problem. We parked in the car park, not, what we assume, was the MH part. (Which although gravelled looked a bit wet). Had a nice meal and then a very quiet night. Would use again.

Really lovely little pub! I stopped by for a yummy vegan roast dinner and they kindly let me stop for the night in their car park. Super lovely and friendly, would definitely recommend stopping here if you need some yummy food and a place to park up for the night :)

Wild wet and windy night but the Fancott is 50 mtrs away warm and cosy very friendly pub with a nice menu and great service, electric provided in the motorhome area it's a very nice stop over heading south just off the M1 off to Portsmouth tomorrow

Our first stay in the van on our first night owning it, nice quiet area and the staff were great, buy a meal and spend the night, there was 2 EHUs - could hear traffic in the morning but nothing earplugs don’t fix!

Great place to stay overnight. Very large car park with back bit set aside for vans. There were only 2 other vans whilst I was there, but I guess in the summer it is probably very busy. The staff are lovely and the food excellent, and it is only a couple miles off the M1. Highly recommend.

Warm and friendly welcome, nice country pub with great food. Large level car park, quiet and safe at night. Highly recommended for stopover, couple of miles off the M1.

Stayed here for the night before an early morning flight from Luton Airport and would do the same again. Had a delicious meal in the pub and stayed the night with a warm welcome from staff.

I received a very warm welcome from the host. Use of the pub seemed optional but I had a meal anyway. There are two spaces with access to EHU and lots more space in the main parking area. First class stopover.

Magnifique pub comme on les aime. Possible de passer la nuit si vous manger sur place. Repas 2 adultes 1 enfant 70 livres, plats vraiment excellents . Nuit au calme, personnel sympa. Aucun service Aire de jeux pour les enfants. Très bonne découverte

Even parking, nice beer garden with a small playground and good food and very friendly staff. Great location near to the motorway but quiet in the night. Highly recommended

Leider war das Restaurant wegen einer Veranstaltung geschlossen. Wir durften aber trotzdem bleiben und haben eine ruhige Nacht verbracht. Morgens dann Straßenlärm. Danke

Wir kamen erst recht spät an, konnten aber in dem Pub noch ein Bier trinken und haben eine sehr ruhige Nacht verbracht. Toller Zwischenstopp für die Weiterreise!

perfect for an overnight stop. large flat carpark and location just off the M1 had a drink at the bar and chatted with Kiran the manager who was really friendly and welcoming. didn't get chance to try the food but menu looked great.

Lovely manager who was more than happy for us to stay overnight. He normally asks people to buy food but as the kitchen was shut we bought a drink each. He was lovely and chatty. Could have stayed longer but it was late. 4 spots to park Moho or campers in and 2 ehu points. Nice and quiet

Still a great place to park up. I’m on EHU and will be enjoying ale and grub later. It’s very muddy, so beware that, even though it’s been graded some years back, there’s a risk of getting stuck, unless you’ve got some decent tyres on. You can still park on the hard standing, but you’d find it difficult to reach the EHU and run the risk of getting your lead run over, especially when the miniature railway team are in. If stopping, please visit the pub, eat and drink and enjoy the hospitality.

Lovely welcoming pub with great food, a nice stop in the car park with a water top up there was ehu but it was a little boggy around there due to torrential rain so we didn't bother. lovely big children's play park. highly recommend.

Great stopover and lovely pub, but as of last week, it’s limited to 2 nights max. Seems some were taking the mickey and overstaying their welcome and NOT visiting the pub. So if you do stop here, be sure to go in, say hi, have some food and drinks and play the game, so that we can all continue to enjoy the place. Miniature railway is still running and there are some great walks across the field.

Very nice PUB. We stayed here alone, the only motorhome but we felt safe and quiet. No payment required to the pub. A little bit hard to find the electricity but we found and it’s free. No emptying for WC. The team told us no water but told us we can use the Pub’s toilet while pub is open. We found later water tap on pub’s outside wall and asked if we can use it, they allowed us. While staying was rainy so was muddy but you can stay also on asphalted surface if you have long cable.

Lovely pub and very welcoming . I don’t know whether we were unlucky as this hasn’t been mentioned before but there was a very strong smell of sewage all night. Lovely and quiet though.

Lovely welcoming country pub. Just missed their annual festival, which looked amazing. Didn't arrive till 10 at night, so no food. But lovely staff and drink. Highly recommended

Have spent a couple of nights here in the last few months as very convenient just off the M1. Super friendly staff, the chef even cooked our dog a couple of sausages one time without charge! They let you use the pub toilets as soon as the cleaner arrives in the morning too. Recommended.

Super nice and friendly. We stayed here 3 nights and 2 we spent in Luton for a wedding. There was no issue leaving our camper here. Great food and electric hookup Available as well.

Very welcoming. Pub serves great food. Allows dogs and has electric hook up if you ask. Car park very quiet at this time of year.

Stayed one night. Food was excellent and they sell Beaver-town Brewery. Whats not to like :-)

Excellent place to stay. We did try to arrive at 8 but there were road works which delayed us. Will stay again soon then we’re eating there.

Excellent stop over. We had been travelling around Europe for 10 weeks and we’re heading back home to the Lakes. Very welcoming, friendly and attentive staff. We decided to eat here and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back and recommend this place highly.

Before the political pandemic, my dog and I were privileged to spend a few days here. We had great food, friendly staff as well as great walks in the area. Now going back to visit the UK and hope to overnight again.

Excellent location, close to M1 but not too noisy. Very friendly staff at the pub, good food and free parking. As others have stated call before you arrive and make use of the pub. Will definitely visit again.

Excellent spot highly recommended. As others have said just let them know you are coming say hello at the bar and order some drinks to say thank you. Staying is free there is even a miniature railway open at weekends. Very friendly and close to the motorway but you can’t hear the noise.

I had a great night here. A lovely pub, excellent food, and very friendly staff. I parked my camper at the back of the carpark, which was flat & very quiet. The wifi also works in the carpark. I will definitely be back again.

Nice large car park at the back of the pub. Staff very friendly, food was lovely would definitely stop there again. Also dogs are allowed in the bar area where the staff made a real fuss over him. Just make sure you pop into the pub and at least have a drink to say thank you to them for the use of the car park. Chausson 758 7.2mtr.

Stopped here on a journey down from my home in the North on the way to London. They were very welcoming and accommodating. I have a small van and had no problems parking, and I was surprised to see a giant RV complete with tow trailer also parked up for the night - so size is seemingly no problem at this location! My night was quiet and peaceful other than the occasional hoot of an owl :)

On reviews from here, we decided to make a last minute stop over. Lovely pub/restaurant and fantastic staff. We got stuck in the mud parking up, and everyone, including other patrons joined in to help us out - (including a tractor!). We tried to tip them for the amazing help, but they graciously declined. We will definitely be back

Very very welcoming & friendly. Convenient for travel on the M1. EHU & water. Private spot available behind a screen if required. Stayed overnight on our way south. Found it peaceful. Felt safe. Didn't feel obliged to have a meal but the menu looks good. Had a few drinks and chats with staff. Will definitely use again & recommend

We arrived around six'ish yesterday evening. Had some decent food and a couple of beers. Asked if we could stay for the night and that wasn't a problem at all. The staff was very welcoming. We could hook up to the power as well. Nice quite place with a lot of space. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent place for a night. The staff in the pub were very welcoming and the food was great. Will defo go again. You can park anywhere but the power point is on the miniature railway level crossing gatepost. You need a standard three pin plug unit.

Lovely quiet spot to stay over. Helpful staff. You need square pin adapter to hook up. Food in the pub is very good though limited choice for veggies and nothing for vegans. Lovely dog walking from public footpath running along the pub boundary, leading to Fancott wood which is delightful. Saw a green woodpecker from our van this morning which made for a nice start to our day.

Arrived late but still got a drink, stayed the night felt safe and was very quiet. There is a mini railway at the back of the pub apparently the only one of this size in England. I got a free ride lol. This place is well worth a visit, good food great staff and a lovely atmosphere . you can plug in if you need electricity the plug is on the side of the gate on the railway crossing.
