great food, and a nice car park behind the pub. there's a lot of road noise as it's a very busy main road but during the night it was fine and ear plugs work wonders. 5 vans last night I'm pretty sure the two comments about £50 are lies from someone with a grievance or a misunderstanding
Great place to stay overnight even busy with locals in the bar on a Wednesday night. Seems to be a very popular place to eat as was also busy in restaurant. We asked the owner if ok to stay in our motorhome overnight as we were having a meal anyway. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Food was delicious and super variety of dishes. Car park muddy but can’t be helped with the recent rainfall.
Not sure what the previous two reviews are talking about? There was no 50.00 charge! We and our dog were welcomed by staff and tbe manager. A dog friendly table was found for us in both the bar area and restaurant. The Guinness was perfect and the food was hot fresh and delicious. And i can recommend the irish coffee it was beautiful. Thank you Ramble Inn for a lovely stopover
£50!! I cannot believe that's just happened this evening. We where meeting up with 6 other couples for dinner and, because we're the furthest away, we were staying overnight. But that rip off merchant decided to be so greedy. The term 'you scratch mine and I'll scratch yours' is lost in translation there. It made the dinner taste very sour and we'll not even eat there again.
Contacted to ensure this place is still OK to freepark and was told it is £50 to park up in their carpark, even if you book a table for dinner. Thanks but no thanks.
what a lovely place. owners and staff are so so friendly and the food is amazing! Proppa chips! when the restaurant closes, they offer you a seat in the bar area, which was lovely. stayed in the carpark overnight, very peaceful nights sleep. owner closes it off overnight so secure enough. will definitely go back again!

Really great stopover for free. Called ahead to check it was okay. Parked in the rear car park to be out the way / bit quieter. You can hear the dual carriageway but not too bad from the rear car park. Owner was very accommodating and we had a lovely dinner in the restaurant and some drinks in the bar. No showers available. Toilets only available during open hours at the Ramble. Great for 1 night
Great spot. It is behind the pub, just off a very busy road. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant. Very friendly owner, who recommended some sights to visit.
Great spot. We stayed one night. Called ahead and there was no problem. Flat large car park at the rear of the building. Very little traffic noise. I think the rear car park is locked at night, so if you need to leave early in the morning you might need to stay in the front car park which I expect would have a lot of traffic noise. We ate and drank and both the food and Guinness were excellent. Staff very friendly.
Großer Schotterparkplatz direkt an der A 26 hinter einem Restaurant. Wir haben eine halbe Stunde vor der Ankunft angerufen, Übernachtung kein Problem.
We stayed last night, after speaking to the manager. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. We had the steak and chowder. You could here the traffic on the road, but we slept through as we had a couple of drinks. There was music by Tony Kerr in the back, with a cover charge of 10 pound. This was well worth it as the crowd were also very friendly and he has a very powerful voice.
Großer Parkplatz am Restaurant. Die Toilette kann während der Öffnungszeiten genutzt werden. Alles gebührenfrei. Liegt jedoch neben einer gut befahrenen Straße. Stand hier für eine Nacht und fand es völlig in Ordnung.
Phoned ahead of our journey to shanes castle for the game fair and was told that they wouldn't be able to to let me park no real excuse just the couldn't accommodate us. Just be ware.

Spot on for parking and good wholesome food, handy for the ferries half hour drive
De la place à en revendre, mais un peu bruyant toute la nuit du fait de la 4 voies. N'espérez pas dormir fenêtres ouvertes, ça tombe bien il ne fait pas très chaud 11° C le 27 06 2019
The food is really good and reasonably priced. The publican is welcoming and friendly. I had the lamb shanks.
