Quiet dead end lane. Some noise on Friday night from teenagers but they soon disappeared. All quiet Saturday night. Fairly level ground. Some dog walkers in the morning, but no problem. Nice walks around the lakes.

Good quiet spot. there was plenty of room to turn a 26 foot van (although if it's was very busy then it could have been tricky but doable). lovely walks all around. plenty of mobile signal (Id mobile and EE). Would definitely stay again.

Felt safe + secluded here. Didn’t feel I’d be woken by local go boy racers or randomer turning up.It’s along a long lane a good 0.5-1mile from any housing. There was an ice cream sign in the middle of the road 1/2 way along trying to clearly put people off but I just squeezed around it.Parked at the end and slept well.Left 7am and met 2-3 cars going down the lane to go to the water sports centre.

19/11/22. Stayed here one night, very quiet with lovely walks along the river. Very large campers may have trouble turning around.

although no services, we had a quiet night last night, there were no other vehicles and we woke up around 930 to the sound of ducks. some dog walkers in the morning, very friendly. recommend

Stayed on the 16th June and had no problems. Even went for a wash in the water close by. Beautiful walks and cute bunnies running around. Quiet too, would stay again!

A deserted road going nowhere, not enough room at the end to turn around a large vehicle. Very quiet, just the sound of ducks.

My three words location - look.issue.humble. Stayed for one night but not at the very bottom (close) there was noise from aircrafts, trains and cars till midnight. We were not disturbed by people. Ideal if you have a dog.

The Tappers Harker pub is very welcoming and are pleased for vans to stay in their carpark. They even plugged us in. We ate in the pub and food is very reasonable and tasty. Loos in the pub and even somewhere to empty tanks.

Stayed here one night. Arrived around 9pm, the long road to get there is quite ominous in the dark but fine in the day. Only one other vehicle the whole night but it wasn’t there long at all. A handful of cars in the day doing dog walking. A bit unnerving there was a sign from the police about a number to call for any suspicious activity, and the review on here about a van being broken into, but nothing happened to us. A bin for rubbish and lovely walks in the morning, flat ground, would stay again

If you go to the pub at the top, tappers harker. as long as you have a drink the landlord will let you stay there on the car park. also will let you fill up with water

Stayed here tonight, arrived around 18:45 and there was nobody here. been pretty quiet all night, I think one car passed by . it's 05:49 now and have not been bothered at all. one car arrived not long ago, but the person just walked on by. I'm in an XC90 not a van, fo that might help.

Quite nights stay, arrived at 6pm. No one else there overnight. Had a couple of cars drive down but didn't stop. A few cars and dog walkers arrived in the morning. Lovely walks along the river. Only issue for me is you have to drive through Long Eaton to get there and traffic can be a bad.

While this spot is very calm, quiet, and secluded, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. We camped up here last night and had two guys try to break into our van at around 5pm while we were inside it having a rest after a big day of driving. My boyfriend scared them off but we were too worried to sleep there so drove up to the Peak District instead. I didn’t feel safe here after that, even with CCTV cameras around. Considering this spot is down a very long, off-road trail, I would say that these guys have broken into cars here before. I’m not sure why you’d go up there otherwise (they didn’t have a boat or a dog to walk).

Great spot, not completely level, but loads of great nature walks, you can go have a swim in the lake in the morning, take the bike into town. It's busy during the day with dog walkers, but they are all very nice and friendly, even the garbage man took time to chat for a minute. Quiet during the night, 10 minute bike ride to the city:)

Very bumpy access lane, but it's worth it. The river walks are beautiful. Near silence at night, slept like a baby. A bulldozer was working nearby during the day, so that was not so peaceful! There is a rubbish bin in the lane and a water tap for the boat people at the nearby canal locks.

Stayed here a few times no problems few cars coming and going in the night. Good walks down the Trent.

After driving around for some time struggling to find a spot. We found this spot without the app to find one van already set up. We arrived with 6 vans T5 and 4 Caddy’s and there was still room for a couple more. By the river and a walk. Take your rubbish joke, it looks like there is quite a bit of fly tipping.

Although we arrived at night and coming along the lane in the dark was disconcerting we did actually have a very quiet night and all was ok.
