Stayed here in November! Great location to catch the train to London. Staff were fantastic and the pub was very family friendly! My kids loved it and my son wanted a job in the pub! Would recommend for sure x
We were visiting Hampton Court Palace, so stayed here for one night in our MWB campervan. The manager and staff couldn’t have been more helpful, I’d definitely recommend it as a good stop off. They don’t do food in the evenings but the petrol station nearby has an M&S food shop. £10 per night or more if you want EHU. Toilets open when the pub is, and the petrol station‘s are 24hrs.
Netter bemühter Inhaber. Tolle Lage, Kempton Park Zugstation nur ein paar Gehminuten entfernt. Leider Nachts ziemlich laut, stark befahrene Straße nebenan. WC an der Tankstelle gegenüber 24h geöffnet.
Malgré notre arrivée tardive le patron et réussi à nous trouver une place . Très sympa et très arrangeant . La station Kempton est à un peu moins de 10 minutes de marche par contre le trajet pour rejoindre London Waterloo dure 1h20 et 10 £ aller/ retour . Il n’y a pas de LPG ( comme indiqué dans les services ) mais une station a 2,5 km qui est un peu cher , il y’en a une moins coûteuses plus loin
Handy for a stay before or after visiting Hampton Court. It’s just a small carpark along side the pub. Publican was nice enough, the pub was friendly and we enjoyed chatting with the local. Drinks were very expensive though. The road noise dropped substantially about 8pm. Better than paying £40 at a campsite as long as you don’t need services.
Small car park,pub was shut so can’t comment,£10 for night next too very busy noisy road A308 lots of traffic all night if for 5 seconds a vehicle did not come down the road, aircraft from Heathrow would make even more noise as they flew over,so only stayed one night was ideal for Hampton court palace which is worth a visit,but entrance ticket does not cover the car park costs at £1.60 a hour
Great stop over, opposite Kempton Park, 5 min walk to station for direct train into London. Car park is small but Scott the landlord sorts it so you can easily get in and out. Lovely pub with a great garden. Stayed here 2 nights, not much road noise, electric available if required. Will stay for the Sunday roast next time!
Man steht auf einem sehr kleinen Parkplatz direkt an der Straße. Dementsprechend hat man viel Verkehrslärm (auch nachts).Der Preis 10£ (mit Elektrik 15£) unschlagbar für London. Der Bahnhof ist 5 min zu Fuß entfernt und der Zug fährt ohne Umsteigen nach London Waterloo. Travelcard gibt es dort am Automaten zu kaufen. (wenn er denn wieder repariert ist, bei uns war er leider nicht in Betrieb)
Turned up bout 7.30pm after failing to get in other sites in the area, losing daylight with motorhome 7.5m long.Small car park but landlord couldn't do enough for us, and squeezed us in.Let us park there 2 nights, and all day in between £10/night.Top guy,locals friendly too.Nice pub.Thanks again Scott. Defo recommend.
Small pub car park. Ring ahead to book. Next to racecourse and handy for travel into central London. Small fee; ehc and water available. Friendly welcome from owner, staff and locals
Had a nice night's sleep here for a small cost. Very friendly and welcoming pub owners. They own a camper themselves so are very accommodating. The pub also has a very nice beer garden with an open fire!
