Site well located to visit the area. £23/night for a small campervan. £3/night extra to use the wind out awning. No hot water for pot washing. Pay for dishwasher machines. Wash areas appeared not to have been cleaned in the 2 days we stayed. Take a torch, as the site is unlit on an evening.
Large site so easy to have own space. Very friendly staff and nice to get a quick draft beer and cider. Difficult for motorhome as no easy fresh water tap (luckily had a long hose with us and drove down a footpath to tap on outside of toilet block) and no drive over grey water waste so will end up watering hedge when we leave. Toilet block not large enough for number of pitches.
Camping raisonnable avec bonne accueille et sanitaires propre. j'en profite pour ajouter les prix des services. 3£ pour le lavage des habits et 1£ le séchage. Pizza pour moins de 10£ et pour finir 6£ pour une journée de pêche. Dommage que le prix est de 25£ la nuitée au lieu de 18 £
A pleasant overnight stay, very peaceful overlooking the fishing lake. Delicious home cooked pizzas served onsite!
Great campsite! Dog friendly with fab pizzas made on site. Loved seeing the farm animals too!
We stayed here last year for a few days , friendly people on arrival, very helpful, made us feel very welcome as did the donkey.
Friendly place. Clean facilities Owner does food and drinks as well, if you like pizza and beer or wine. Close to Forest of Dean and black mountain.
Absolute gem beautiful campsite toilets and showers open and clean lovely walks and friendly owner cost us £20 a night no electric but worth it
We stay here regularly as a group. The toilet/shower block is very modern and clean. Nothing is to much trouble for the owner Geoff. Plenty of space for youngsters to run round and play ball. Phoenix Campers
Lots of lovely space, friendly & welcoming owners. We stayed for one night without ehu @ £16. I didn’t use the showers but it looked like a new block. Ooodles of walks for the children & dogs in the woods accessed from the site. There was some road noise but it was bearable. All in all a lovely stop over. Thank you.
