Sorry folks, but from 1st August this is no longer free and big signs say 'No overnight parking' £1:00 per hour up to £6. You can still park up in the daytime though as long as you pay. They tell me they are going to introduce paid parking right along the coast here with no overnight parking, it's gradually being rolled out

Great spot, parking allowed for 24 hours, free. However signage says vehicles can't be used for cooking or sleeping but there were 20 Campervans here last night. New posts been put in for new signage which is coming soon according to workmen.

This was a nice location to enjoy the view, watch the windsurfers, walk the dogs and generally enjoy the comforts of the motorhome. We will visit again but understand that this is a very popular location in the summer and on sunny weekends.

If it isn’t a holiday or weekend and the weather isn’t lovely, there’s a lot of parking available here. But we turned up late Monday afternoon in perfect weather on a holiday weekend and the car park and all the approach roads were absolutely full. All we could do was drive right on through, and in a bigger camper that in Oswald isn’t easy as you can’t turn aprons if all the spots are take and the through road becomes very narrow with no option than to just keep on going and grit your teeth.

Beautiful spot, between April and September you can stay for 24hours. Nice pub just back up the road. Sea swimming is delightful and free to park!

Great spot I've used twice now to kayak from. The 24 hour rule seems new for summer only. Nothing to stop you leaving for 1 night and coming back.

Great free roadside spot between sea and wildfowl reserve. Road gets busy at times but was quiet overnight. Max stay 24 hours in summer, 72 hours in winter.

The perfect spot with amazing sunset view, plenty of parking spots and free to park overnight. Narrow bridge only an issue when two large vehicle pass.

Further along close to the bird sanctuary and right by the sea there aren't any restrictions that I saw. I stayed 4 nights and there were at least three other van there too.

It has always been one of my favourite park ups. Unfortunately the local committee are not happy to see campers there. There are now checks done every morning and evening and the traffic warden is there everyday. Its a shame :0(

What a waste of time. Took ages to get here and what do we see. No Sleeping, No Cooking, No Camping also lots of other rules, you will be fined as it states they will get your address from a PVC check ! But you can stay 24hrs this time of year September. Or 72hrs October onwards
