stayed here loads of times on my boat, it's a nice area with great walks, the pub is out of action because it flooded again! Up into Sprotborough there is another pub and some eating places, the curry house is excellent.

Au bord du canal, permet de faire des promenades à vélo ou à pieds. Un restaurant est en bas du parking. Et une caravane vend des boissons certains matin.
Pas mal de passage de voitures bien que se soit une petite route.
Des voitures assez tôt le matin en semaine. Mais ça dépanne.
Small, slightly sloping car park. For vehicles not over 7m. At the edge of the canal, allows you to go for walks by bike or on foot. A restaurant is down the parking lot. And a caravan sells drinks some mornings. Quite a lot of passing cars although it is a small road. Cars quite early in the morning on weekdays. But it helps.
Kleiner, leicht abfallender Parkplatz. Für Fahrzeuge nicht über 7m. Am Rande des Kanals können Sie mit dem Fahrrad oder zu Fuß spazieren gehen. Ein Restaurant ist den Parkplatz hinunter. Und ein Wohnwagen verkauft an manchen Morgen Getränke. Ziemlich viele vorbeifahrende Autos, obwohl es eine kleine Straße ist. Autos werktags recht früh morgens. Aber es hilft.

javiers08/08/2023Este es el único sitio decente en Doncaster, donde se está más o menos tranquilo por la noche. Es un lugar perfecto para disfrutar de la naturaleza, ya que tiene muchas pistas asfaltadas para andar o ir en bicicleta a lo largo del rio. Recomiendo caminar hasta el puente y atravesarlo para ver la localidad de al lado que tiene un pequeño lago. Como inconveniente, tiene un poco de desnivel.

Fairly level, water very close and can hear it running if quiet. Has signal, next to pub. Spent a night here, (bear in mind) youngsters come and go even on week day.

On a slope and yes the fishermen do come early. Stayed there on a Wednesday night during school time. A little bit of traffic noise to and from the pub I suppose. One or two loud cars, otherwise it was all quite pleasant. Great for taking dogs for a walk in the morning.

I got here late (after 1am) on a Saturday night. Plenty of space. Slept really well until 7am when the car park filled up with fisherman putting waders on and chatting away. Turns out there was a fishing competition this morning on the canal. I didn't mind. It's a lovely spot and I had a beautiful snowy walk along the canal and then looped back round to near the Boat Inn. Great wildlife too.

Stayed for one night 14th October 22, slight gradient didn’t bother to level. Very quiet good nights sleep. Ate at the Boat inn very good food and drinks. Had a lovely 2 mile walk along the canal.

Quiet night, bank holiday weekend August on the Sunday. Slight road noise from 7am. We managed to park our motorhome 7.4 length in the 1st left space - and was well off road next to the trees. Beautiful spot

Lovely interesting spot with info boards, bird hides, nature reserve. Slight slope didn’t bother us for one night. Leave the lower 2 slots free for friendly lady’s coffee unit who arrives 7.30. Noisy with cars passing well after midnight from the Boat Inn that was busy on Fri night in holidays. Would have been quieter in their car park but phone ahead, if that bothers you.
van_life_dave09/07/2022Nice, quite, I'd advise to stay here especially of there is other vans , it can be a bit spooky if ur alone, other than that , definitely advise a night or two here
