This is a Passing Place - unluckely, we were told to leave in a very unfriendly way; although there was even space for a small truck behind our vehicle to give way to other cars.

Amazing spot! Quite tight, and had to ask another group to kindly shuffle up their parking to allow for 2 vehicles in the spot. Beautiful views, 10 minute want to Castletown public loos, shops and a couple of restaurants.

At the bend where the road turns towards the village there's room for 1, with ramps, set back from the road, next to the sea. Peaceful. Round the corner is the large carpark for Castlehill Heritage. Open only 6hrs per week so usually empty. Room for a few vans. The harbour itself is also a possibility with shelter from the wind. Chip shop and Chinese takeaway in village toilets but no disposal.

Beautiful spot! woke up to a gorgeous sunrise. Watched the surf roll in. Small space, really just a lay-by, but big enough for us. Got some friendly "good morning's" from a couple of locals walking by.

Brilliant stay, talked to many locals who said it’s frequently used. Not sure whether it’s a passing place or not as no signage, one of the best spots we stayed at doing NC500, would stay again! 10/10 (we had a car)

Great view, but was moved on by the land owner at 10pm, not worth being uprooted, had to go to the spot around the corner. Land owner advised the area is a passing place despite no signage - definitely avoid.

Great nights stay, jumped in the harbour first thing. Would stay again
