I wouldn't waste your time driving here. Would of been a great spot but the locals are very vocal about not spending the night here.
Pas de stationnement/camping de nuit ! Parking pour quelques vans au bord de l'eau. Cet endroit est juste en dessous du parking où il y a des toilettes et de l'eau courante, et la marche vers Sandwood Bay commence (6,5 km). Poubelles et bancs de pique-nique fournis sur place.
No overnight parking/camping! Parking for a few vans on the edge of the water. This spot is just below below the car park where there are toilets and running water, and the walk to Sandwood Bay begins (6.5k). Bins and picnic benches provided at site.
Kein Parken/Camping über Nacht! Parkplatz für ein paar Transporter am Ufer des Wassers. Dieser Ort liegt direkt unterhalb des Parkplatzes, wo es Toiletten und fließendes Wasser gibt, und der Spaziergang zur Sandwood Bay beginnt (6,5 km). Mülleimer und Picknickbänke sind vor Ort vorhanden.

LeChamp16/11/2023Unfortunately as a result of overuse and a small minority of people who do not respect the place it is now forbidden to stay overnight. The blame is not just motorhomes but wild campers using the place as a toilet. I live here but am also a motorhome owner so can understand the frustration of losing a great stopover. Please support our community and use the facilities in Kinlochbervie, the community have done their best to welcome motorhomes and money raised goes to community projects. Respectful tourists are still VERY welcome.

Lovely idea for a spot, but just not okay. Drove all the way down after the aire looked a bit disconcerting to find it's no overnight stay, the sea was full of rubbish and stank ! the pictures are lovely with crystal clear water, but i guess you have to choose your moment. If i were you, i wouldn't bother driving down there !
blackheyhey15/06/2023Sehr schöner, abgeschiedner Stellplatz in mitten von Schafen. Sitzbänke und Tische vorhanden. Traumhafte Aussicht. Sehr ruhig. Müllheimer zum entsorgen vorhanden.

Sloping a lot no way 7 vans in here unless you want it banned. Locals come down here too it’s not just for vans to take over. 2 max or it will upset the locals!

One of our favourite stops on our trip, only us and one other van. great for Sandwood bay walk and Sheigra bay walks.

Cracking little place, known as Droman Pier. Space for 5 - 6 vehicles. Bins and benches provided.
