Nice spot next to the river. We have a Ford transit and just (!) managed to squeeze under the two meter barrier (with metal moving bars below it). Quiet night, only a few dog walkers from 8 o'clock.

Parken mit 2 Meter Höhenbeschränkung. Schöner Bach, der daneben fließt. Sehr schöner Ort und sehr ruhig.

BigRedAndRoxy18/02/2024Arrived here at about 7pm not a soul to be seen until about 8 this morning and woke up to a view of the river. Really good nights sleep, the sound of the river in the back ground and sound of birds in morning. Our t4 fit under the 2m height barrier and no overnight parking restrictions.

Very quiet, away from the main road, parking spot next to a lovely stream. No signs regarding overnight parking. Facilities wise, there is a picnic bench and two rubbish bins. The area was very clean and a joy to wake up in. There is a pub 10mins walk away that does food and rooms. what3words for the site is swordfish.motivations.heats

Very quiet place. 2 metre height restriction. Bins provided, no toilets. Lovely little stream running behind the car park, also has a little picnic bench.

Great quiet spot. Felt safe. The river was very pretty to wake up too. Picnic bench for breakfast too

I have always loved this place, grew up down the road, messed in the river as kid and have a lot of history here. I have slept here a few times and it is nice and quiet. However, I don’t recommend it in the summer… it can get very busy with all sorts of vehicles and honestly it’s overrun by chavs and young people in loud cars in the summer (I used to be one sorry).

War für eine Nacht super. Der Parkplatz liegt ein paar hundert Meter außerhalb des Dorfes. Mülleimer gibt es, sonst keine weiteren Services. Wenig Verkehr auf der passierenden Straße. Plus morgens ein sehr nettes Gespräch mit einem Herrn aus der Gegend. Empfehlenswert.

This is a fantastic spot right by the river. We picked it so we could beat the tide and get across the Shell Island causeway first thing and it's a great recommendation.

This was my first ever wild camp, great little circular car park. lovely river which was scarily swollen the second time I went back. used by dog walkers and coastal path walkers during the day. Highly recommended.

2m height restriction but managed to get in with H1 Ford transit custom and solar panel. Lovely little picnic bench and stream. Perfection!
