Non loin de la route, mais très calme après un certain temps. Belle vue sur un lac, ne laissez pas de détritus ou de déchets

Not far from the road, but very quiet after a while. Beautiful view over looking a lake, don't leave litter or any waste
A lovely dog walks down to the water

Nicht weit von der Straße entfernt, aber nach einer Weile sehr ruhig. Schöne Aussicht auf einen See, keine Abfälle oder Abfälle hinterlassen

Perfect for one night. Passers-by were very friendly. Very quiet and peaceful but quarry traffic starts about 7.30am. Great views

Sehr schnelles Internet, LKW-Verkehr tagsüber, aber nachts ruhig. Wanderung runter zum Fluss ist ganz nett. Sonst nichts besonderes.

Visited for the day at Wivenhoe Village. Stayed in the stations car park since trains were on strike. Beautiful village & people are really friendly. Followed the lake past the folly & sailing club to a small area called Whitehouse beach. You can keep walking into the next village of Alresford. Great for bird watching, having a swim, paddle boarding on the lake. Downfall trails not signposted.

Great for 1 night. View of lake in the distance. Noisy quarry traffic in the morning but not too early and not on a Sunday. Fits 2 motorhomes/campers. Free, gravel area.

Nice spot quiet lovely views. nothing around shop wise so make sure you have essentials. Great spot for a dog walk. see pics. as always keep it clean. I walked my dog and picked up a carrier bag of rubbish. it doesn't hurt if we take the mick it will stop. appreciate the land/beautiful spots we have access to in the UK.

Great little spot, stayed here a few times. Lovely view and a nice walk for the dog too although the footpath gets muddy if wet. It’s sort of a dog walkers parking area, no bays or restrictions though and plenty of room for a few vehicles. There’s an active quarry with HGV’s going in and out all day but not really an issue.

A quiet night. The quarry is still operational but the lorries stopped early and didn’t start again until 7. Local traffic to the farm on a private road. They smiled so obviously didn’t object to us being here. Could probably get 2 vans in here but walkers use it too. We had to wait until they had gone to be able to park right out of the way of a farm gate which was used in the morning.

Wonderful stop. View stunning. Very quiet. No littering signs but we collected a small bagful.
