Got told we weren't allowed to sleep there by the police. There was a battered caravan in one corner, with someone living in it. within 10 minutes of our arrival the police turned up, whether for us or the caravan we don't know. But they told us we couldn't stay there, we were eating our tea at the time. They seemed to begrudgingly accept that.
Flat, sand/gravel car park. Very few users. At the back is best, out of the way and alongside a field with cows. There is one small rubbish bin. We had a quiet, undisturbed night. Please respect this place. It is a car park for local residents. No prohibition signs.
