Access would be difficult for larger motor homes. on entering the premises, we were informed they no longer serve food. we can not comment further as we moved on.
1852 bar et restaurant. Heureux que les campeurs restent lorsqu'ils mangent / boivent sur place. Grand parking, généralement plat. Karl était très accueillant et a fait tout son possible pour s'assurer que tout allait bien. Eu un rôti du dimanche incroyable! Animation gratuite quand nous y étions, super duo. Je reviendrai certainement ici, je le recommande vivement. Katandlee
1852 bar and restaurant. Happy for campers to stay when having food/drink on the premises. Large car park, mostly flat. Karl was very welcoming and went out his way to make sure we were ok. Had an amazing Sunday roast! Free entertainment when we were there, great duo. I will definitely be staying here again, highly recommend. Katandlee
1852 Bar und Restaurant. Glücklich für Camper zu bleiben, wenn Essen / Trinken auf dem Gelände haben. Großer Parkplatz, meist flach. Karl war sehr herzlich und tat alles, um sicherzustellen, dass es uns gut ging. Wir hatten einen tollen Sonntagsbraten! Kostenlose Unterhaltung, als wir dort waren, tolles Duo. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten, sehr zu empfehlen. Katandlee

Bramleyboy18/10/2023stayed on 14/10/23, all good, spoke to Carl the landlord, top bloke, no breakie on Sunday mornings but banging Sunday dinners. Proper English pub, tunes were on on Saturday night, can't fault it, if we weren't going out in Leicester we'd have stayed there for the music and local entertainment

excellent stop over, Carl the landlord is so welcoming. Open quite early for breakfast and access to Toilets. Lovely menu, will definitely stay again.

Stayed here again in the rear car park. Very safe and had a great night’s sleep. We had missed the Sunday roast as arrived quite late but found the best Nepalese restaurant 5 mins walk away. Few drinks in the 1852 bar afterwards then off to bed.
