We stayed for just one night this time, facilities are the same as last time we stayed around 6 years ago. The camping field was home to a dozen sheep when we arrived so we stayed on the static one, hardly anyone there so lovely and quiet. Will be closing for winter in the next couple of weeks ( hence the sheep) Very friendly farmer.
Great location for walking and at £12/night what is there to moan about. Yes there were some big groups making noise, but the camping field is plenty big enough to find a quiet spot. Fire pit and lovely views. Happy camper!
Great place to camp. Plenty of space. Cost was £12 a night, was worth it for the destination, showers and the surroundings. Water, clean washroom, toilets and showers. 20p for 2 mins showers or hot water. Plugs in sink area for hairdryers etc. Great little place. Fires and bbqs all good.
Loads of space in a huge field, so plenty of parking options to allow us to keep our social distance. Field is next to another field of static caravans. Field is mostly flat but we used chocks. Basic but perfectly adequate bathroom facilities. Cold water taps outside the toilet block. Lovely views and access to walking trails.
Great cheap little campsite, basic toilets and showers with plenty of space. really nice and quiet and the farmer is lovely.
Stayed for 1 nights in September 2020 so it was not busy and could easily have stayed longer. £10 cash for camper and 2 adults ... site has basic toilet facilities with 20p giving you 3 mins of instant hot water for a shower. Lovely walk along the river into Hartington (about 30 mins each way) and we were able to have a raised open fire in the evening. Great views.
