Great place to stay overnight. Large & level car park with plenty of room. We have a 7.4m MH and had no issues. We called up the night before to check availability and they were very obliging. Had a nice meal in the pub. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended

Very nice large car park, need to ring first but we were ok as it was quiet, lovely walk to Christleton

Level, separate parking area for overnights, so away from cars coming and going. Very quiet overnight. Food not served every evening, but they’re happy for you to stay if you only have a couple of drinks, and will even direct you to another nearby place to eat! Very friendly hosts and regulars. Highly recommended.

Large car at rear of pub, beware of narrowish entrance with brick pillars. Room for approx 5 mid size (3.5 ton) No food served on Mondays. Large old character pub in village.

Plenty of space behind the pub.

Lovely spot to spend the night. Extremely quiet. Unfortunately cannot comment on the food. They were busy as it was Father’s Day so couldn’t accommodate us so we bought a couple of drinks. Huge fenced in area with play park and loads of outdoor seating. Would definitely recommend.

Great parking area, free and very flat! The pub was well presented in and out. The owners are lovely people and very chatty. We turned up in our motorhome at 10pm and they still welcomed us. Just head in and give them the vehicle reg. Will probably return as only a short distance away from Chester

We called ahead and parked at lunchtime. cycled into Chester (30mins) down the canal and spent the afternoon in town before riding back. Evening meal was very nice in the pub but make sure you check serving times. Had a nice walk in the morning before departing.

Decided to stop here after a day in Chester. Telephoned ahead to confirm it would be ok. Very friendly and helpful. Flat car park, excellent pub food and good ales. Do call ahead as may be busy with locals and so no room. Landlord is planning some changes to make dedicated Motorhome spaces.
