Pratique pour la visite des ruines. Bord de route, boueux et pas très spacieux. Peu adapté pour un séjour long ou une nuitée.
Une option plus sûre que le site des ruines du château à proximité qui dit «pas d'accès aux véhicules». Près de la route mais calme la nuit. Espace pour quelques campeurs. Pas d'installations.

Eine sicherere Option als die nahe gelegene Burgruine, auf der „kein Fahrzeugzugang“ steht. In der Nähe der Straße, aber nachts ruhig. Platz für ein paar Camper. Keine Einrichtungen.
Una opción más segura que el sitio de ruinas del castillo cercano que dice "sin acceso de vehículos". Cerca de la carretera pero tranquila por la noche. Espacio para algunos campistas. No hay instalaciones.
Un'opzione più sicura rispetto al vicino sito delle rovine del castello che dice "nessun accesso ai veicoli". Vicino alla strada ma tranquillo di notte. Spazio per pochi camper. Nessuna struttura.
Een veiligere optie dan de nabijgelegen site met kasteelruïnes waarop staat "geen toegang voor voertuigen". Dicht bij de weg maar 's nachts rustig. Ruimte voor enkele campers. Geen voorzieningen.

basilesp24/09/2023Endroit plutôt calme la nuit avec 2 autres camping-cars. Le château en ruines est plus fréquenté la journée. Par contre beaucoup de vent, ça reste au bord de mer en Écosse.

RachelH20/08/2023Great spot for visiting Slains Castle, only about a 10 minute walk away. Strong 4G signal. Stayed overnight to go to Slains Castle at sunrise, at about 2am teenagers showed up, loud in cars with music. Lingered for about half an hour then they moved on. (it was a Saturday so potentially would be better on a weekday). Great spot for the castle, but wouldn't overnight here on a weekend again!

Nous avions pris cette option mais voyant que le lieu devient un point de rencontre entre groupe de jeune laissant les moteurs allumé parfois. Nous disant au passage que c’est un endroit dangereux. Nous n’avons pas trop apprécié, nous sommes donc allez ailleurs

Great overnight parking spot. Close to the castle and coastal walks with great views! Carpark is slightly busy during the day but very quiet at night. No facilities, good phone reception.

Magdaela7812/06/2023Parking na kilka camperów i kilka osobówek. Droga do ruin prosta, zajmuje kilkanaście minut. Sam zamek położony w niesamowitym miejscu nad samym brzegiem morza, przy klifach.
Sahra.xoxo08/10/2022Wir hatten eine super Nacht, bis auf ein paar Autos die a n der Straße vorbei gefahren sind haben wir nur den Wind gehört. Und wurden morgens mit einem Atemberaubenden Sonnenaufgang an der New Slains Castle überrascht.

Platz für 3 Wohnmobile, Mülleimer vorhanden, werden aber nicht von allen genutzt. 15 Minuten Fußweg zur Ruine. Sehr laut da er direkt an einer Straße liegt.

Nachts sehr ruhig, wir haben prima geschlafen. Zum castle sind es ca. 700m; ein schöner Spaziergang.

Although this spot is by a main road , there was next to no traffic through the night, I was alone in the car park and I had an undisturbed sleep. This is the car park for Slain Castle ruins (well worth visiting) , so it is busy with visitors during the day.

Close to road but traffic noise died down about 11pm. Very peaceful night. Nice views of the sea and good 4g.

Funktionell und def. besser als der Parkplatz an der Burgruine. Internetverbindung ist top… :-)

A lovely spot just along from Slains Castle but the road noise and a few cars pulling in and then out of the car park through the night, though that could be because it was a Saturday night, could disturb any light sleepers. myself and another camper parked here last night.
