Amazing value for money, and the club provides nice food, drinks and toilet facilities etc when open, a nice homely place to settle for a night or 2

  • 4/5

Lovely big field and the food and drink were really reasonable. The staff really friendly. Only downfall was no phone signal on o2 or 3 but the clubhouse offers free Wi-Fi while you’re in there

  • 2/5

Not worth it for £10 a night, such a shame as regular stop for £5 and used to have a meal and drink at club house but decided not to stay when told price increased.

  • 4/5

Friendly relaxed site and although it is right next to a working docks it's a very quiet relaxing place . The walks and bike rides are outstanding. We have been here on and off since September 22 . As we have been restoring a narrow boat at sandfeild marine some 5 min walk away.. The views are amazing all year round . The canal and country walks also, amazing views. And a good price.

  • 5/5

interesting place, very friendly in the pub and honest food. industrial area which adds to the character I think.

  • 4/5

This is now £10 a night. Friendly staff and probably still worth the money if you want to empty waste etc.

  • 5/5

Excellent place. Not the most picturesque but interesting and quiet. You pay up in the red brick clubhouse. £5 for one night and you have access to water and black/grey waste disposal. Ate in the club but no obligation. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Field where you camp is huge so no worries about finding a spot. There is a reunion of the boys who trained here for the merchant navy and the field is busy then but not sure when that is.

  • 5/5

Came in our motor home to have a night camping on our way to Wales. This is such a calm and interesting place (recent history) that we stayed a second night and savoured the Sunday Roast. Excellent value for drinks and food. And a camp for just £5. Winner winner!

  • 4/5

Great stopover. Pub has new manager who made us feel very welcome. Food and drink very reasonable prices. lots of big potholes so be careful. cycle on the canal tow path was stunning. £5 to stay overnight. 4 stars because no facilities. we will be coming back

  • 4/5

Another stay here, under new owners now, food and drink still good and great prices, field a little hit or miss as no one checking it.

  • 3/5

Usually love it here but pub currently not doing food and the potholes are horrendous so suggest walking track before driving in if you don’t have high ground clearance.

  • 5/5

What a little gem. Some lovely walks, amazing views of the seven and lots of boats. It’s just a field but a fab place for 1 or several nights. Will def be coming back.

  • 5/5

really good spot - mostly flat, well drained field with cheap drinks and good food at the club. amazing walks along the canal and river Severn

  • 5/5

Great place to stay. Super cheap at £5 per night. Friendly bar staff. Nice open field, fairly flat. Only a handful of campers/caravanners here, peaceful aside from some machinery nearby in the Dock but by no means loud or disruptive. had a nice walk down to the lifeboat station and through the marina. would recommend. Can't fault it.

  • 2/5

  • 5/5

Stayed here last night, very friendly staff. £5 to pitch up and cheap drinks at the bar. We followed the path out of the site to the lifeboat station with our dog and enjoyed a walk along the river Severn and the Marina. A few lorries parked on the gravel road overnight but never heard them leave, lovely safe and quiet site once the club had shut.

  • 5/5

A great spot. Plenty of space on the grassy area in front of the pub. Bargain at £5 per night.

  • 5/5

I have stayed here a few times and it's amazing place. The pub is situated near Marina Docks of Sharpness which provides access to the canal walk. £5 per night, black waste and fresh water is available. The owners of the pub are really nice and food is good.

  • 5/5

Spent 2 nights here. Great little spot lots to do. nice walks. Berkeley Castle near. There is a place to empty your toilet. recycling Bins by pub also a water tap. Well worth it for £5. Very friendly in pub.

  • 5/5

just Paradies... friendly people... and very close to the marina and "kanal" England does need more places like this.

  • 5/5

Flat field with plenty of space for dogs and kids. Handy for a mid route overnight. Very friendly and welcoming in the club. £5 cash per night for camping. No facilities when the club is closed.

  • 5/5

stayed here and love these guys. £5 a night and sharpness docks are weirdly beautiful. Gloucester canal is lovely. food at the dockers is homely but lovely. friendly as well. 100% recommend.

  • 5/5

Nice spot, walked along canal to the Purton Hulks. Sadly no food on a Monday night though

  • 5/5

Great little spot! Nice walks and a great pub including staff!

  • 4/5

Brilliant value for money, £5! Only thing you could hear some slight knocking in the distance from the morning and seagulls. Nice pub great stop off

  • 5/5

Awesome place, very friendly staff and locals, our over friendly dog was just as welcome as we were. All good value and a good place to explore finished by a peaceful night's sleep. I definitely recommend it and I'm definitely going back.

  • 4/5

Very friendly staff no refuse bins but water and toilet emptying, lorries also stop here so park on grass in front of building if you prefer not to be woken up at 0430 in the morning when they leave.

  • 4/5

Stayed night of 7/10/20. £5 for the night. Toilet disposal, water and refuse. Nice helpful people. We asked to stay on the tarmac by the club, but there is a large grass area and more hard standing below. Had a lovely meal and a few beers. Interesting walks around the locks and Gloucester canal and marina. Anyone interested in Industrial Archeology or boats this is a great spot.

  • 4/5

£5 per night, toilets available when it’s open, water and sanitary empty and water tap, friendly place and people great social distancing in place inside, pretty walks down the canal or to the pier

  • 5/5

Absolutely delicious food at a very reasonable price. we met up with friends who are travelling on a narrow boat and enjoyed our two nights here. will definitely recommend it and we will be back.

  • 5/5

Wow, what an amazing little gem, beautiful, clean, very friendly, allow dogs, and the food is delicious and very reasonably priced, a hidden gem and highly recommend. Thank you all at the Dockers?

  • 4/5

A warm welcome but it is now £5 for the first night and £3 after that
