Nice simple, unpretentious Dales pub. Locals bar including the local fell running club I think. Good value standard pub grub and drink (nice beer from Bowland Brewery in Clitheroe). Proper fire. Parking was flat and quiet. A few vans even on a wet October midweek evening!

Stopped here two night this week and got a friendly welcome from the new owners and some good pub grub. The outside loo is open 24 hour and perfectly serviceable if a little cobwebby and has a huge resident spider. Definitely be going back

Great one night stay. Really friendly staff… the food was very reasonable and excellent …highly recommend the Lamb Henry. Would definitely stay here again.

  • 5/5

Excellent pub stopover, probably the cheapest beer in the Yorkshire Dales. Excellent good value food. Carpark was busy with campervans, hope that doesn't put off locals using the pub. Will use again, keep up the good work.

Lovely overnight, flat car park, outside toilets if needed. We ate and drank in the pub, large portions of home cooked tasty food and a fabulous fire.

excellent stopover. friendly staff. would stop here again. only here for the night on our first night in our new campervan.

  • 5/5

We stayed here for two nights, the car park has plenty of room for campervans and is nice and flat. There is a toilet outside the pub which is open 24 hours. The Helwith Inn is a great pub with a great atmosphere and gets very lively, we had drinks here on the first night and went in for tasty food on the second. We were very welcomed by all the staff. Great little place for a stopover.

Great pub stop. The pub staff is nice and welcoming, the food is good, good choice of beer, and the place is very quiet at night despite its proximity to the road. Highly recommended.

Helwith Bridge Inn. Near Horton in Ribblesdale. Yorkshire Dales. Free if you use the pub. No EHU but 24 hour toilet. Large flat car park with nice view of the hills. Very welcoming staff. Four good beers on hand pump. Good food too but go in hungry as you get plenty! Highly recommend. I will go again.

What a gem of a place! Can’t recommend it enough. Well run pub with good choice of well kept beers (free house), smashing landlord and landlady, exceptionally decent pub grub and very reasonable prices. No charge for staying over night but it would be very rude not to eat and drink here as a ‘thank you’ if staying. Places like this need to be encouraged as there are too few of them.

Lovely little friendly pub. Toilet 24hrs for campers to use. Food amazing and cheap.

Just stayed the night, lovely pub with great food. Nice views and toilets and water! Great place to stay.

  • 5/5

Called in and ordered a few drinks, asked the owners if we could stay the night, "yes no problem at all and the started telling us where the water and toilets are. Peaceful spot. The pub has a great selection of drinks reasonably priced and offers food. Lots of locals in, not many pubs like this any more. Thanks Guys.

Lxs dueñxs del pub son muy amables, y su perrito también. Hay un baño abierto toda la noche, agua, sitio tranquilo... y no piden nada por pernoctar, pero es lógico y de agradecer quedarse a tomar algo, también dan comidas y cenas.

Free overnight stay in the pub carpark. Outside toilet, and WiFi in the pub. Owners were so friendly. Easy access to Pen Y Ghent. Highly recommend.

Friendly and laid back owners, we stayed two nights no problem. Drinks the first night and a very good portion of dinner for a reasonable price the second. we got there and the owner told us where the toilets and water were without us having to ask. Outside toilet open all night.

One of the best pub park ups out there! Great location, walked up Pen Y Ghent from here a few times. The food is excellent (the steak and stilton pie is my fave) and the owners are so welcoming. Toilet for use outside the pub even when closed and water available.

Fantastic pub, well priced Ales and food. We had steak and ale pie and fish and chips, delicious. Landlord was very friendly and helpful. Parking hardstanding and level. Great place to stop and there is even a mini hotel which would be great for walkers.

Excellent pub in the shadow of Ingleborough. The staff were very friendly as were locals frequenting the place. Propper pub grub, I fully recommend the home made pie, and great local ale at a very reasonable price. Had a great night's sleep in their peacegul carpark although light sleepers may be troubled by the lorries passing to and from the local quarry in the morning.

Our 2nd stay, stunning location, great beers, good wholesome food. Staff are brilliant. Very busy place so booking a table is essential, lovely nights sleep.

  • 5/5

Stay here a lot. Great place, friendly staff. Super menu with lots of options. Baked potatoes, Lamb Henry, steaks... all excellent. Book to eat when you arrive, can often be full on an evening. Great route to Pen y Ghent from here and lots more hiking and cycling.

We stayed at this pub in 2019, the landlord could not do enough for us. Highly recommend. The food was plentiful with lots of it. A great range of beers too. Highly recommend you will not be disappointed

Excellent place to stay overnight friendly service. 24 hr toilets. Food lamentable. Burger so overcooked it was like rubber. Chips old and hard. Shame.
