No longer feasible for overnight No camping
Belle place de parking à côté du canal dans une rue calme, assez d'espace pour quelques campeurs et de belles promenades sur le canal. Il y a aussi un bac.
Nice parking spot next to canal off a quiet road, enough space for a few campers and nice walks up the canal. There's also a bin.
Schöner Parkplatz neben dem Kanal an einer ruhigen Straße, genug Platz für ein paar Camper und schöne Spaziergänge den Kanal hinauf. Es gibt auch einen Mülleimer.

quiet night in a 6 mtr motorhome hump back bridge has 3 ton limit and might be a problem if you have a very long overhang single track with a few passing places for the last mile either way but not busy .Will stay again.
daandejager24/09/2023The scenery is nice, but the parking space was full with cars, which we found interesting because there is nothing nearby. During the evening cars where coming and going, one stayed for an hour with the light on. If you want a sense of privacy, go somewhere else. If you just want a place for the night with a nice view in the morning, this works.
JJarvis22/09/2023Very quiet: almost no traffic, the odd walker going by, the occasional distant, atmospheric sound of a distant train and a single honk of a goose. In other words it's lovely and peaceful, and very dark. The canal bridge has a 3t weight limit and is very 'pointy', so a risk of grounding : I was fine in my 5m Transporter. There is a route avoiding the bridge. I'm walking along the canal tomorrow.

fantastic stop , but must be considerate to the workers on the canal when parking, so make sure you tucked in when you parked here. stunning views and peace and quiet lovely seeing the canal boats going past. also there is a weak bridge so not ideal for big motorhomes.

thewilderness17/04/2022stayed overnight on 15&16 April 2022 so peaceful all you can hear is the birds or the engines chugging away on the barges had two really good night's the name of the road is Boddington Road. highly recommended

Right2roamrich01/12/2021Arrived 21:25, had a peaceful night in this very rural spot. Popular for dog walkers etc. Had no problem with my 6m x 2.3m wide class C motorhome on the road here from Claydon direction but I am right on the 3 ton weight limit for the bridge.

The bridge over the canal is weak with 3T limit so larger camper vehicles should come from Appletree side being wary of narrow lanes and bumpy roads. The parking area was full so I parked c200m back on Appletree side in back of deep passing place (looks like former field entrance on Google Maps) with nice field views. Just space for one camper there. Enjoyed a canal walk and a peaceful night.

A quiet road, nice safe spot, just alongside a bridge over the very pretty Oxford canal with lovely walks down to Croperdy which has two good pubs. This is a popular parking site for the canal walk though, so there are other vehicles there and walkers. only enough space for one or two campervans definitely not an RV

Super stop over with walks. Taking anything bigger than a LWB HT van will be a challenge due to narrow roads and risk of grounding on the many humps in the road. Peaceful place. Please take your rubbish home and don’t disturb the resident canal boat owners.
