Beautiful little car park right on the beach with lovely views, perfect for daytime. I would not advise overnight as boy racers treat it like a racetrack, screeching around. Felt Intimated, unsafe so left.

We stayed here with the permission of the Coastguard on duty. It’s only manners to ask and we made a donation. Toilets close when they go home. Beautiful beech which gets scrapped clean daily. Lots of lovely cafes and local artists to support. Thank you Irvine we will return
digimaf08/05/2021No longer for overnights, spoke with coastguard who confirmed this is part of the council carpark which is now “no overnights” as they have made dedicated motor home bays at Ayr and girvan beaches. Police won’t necessarily move you on but this could jeopardise the councils appetite for motorhomes/campers if everyone keeps staying

Der Ausblick ist ja ganz nett, aber....Der Platz wird sehr stark von den jugendlichen Einheimischen genutzt, um mit ihren Autos vorzufahren und den Motor laut aufheulen zu lassen. Wir sind hier nach einer kurzen Pause schnellstens wieder verschwunden. Zum Übernachten nicht empfohlen! Wir sind weiter nach Lochwinnoch und hatten eine ruhige Nacht!
Warrior866127/10/2019We stayed here 25/10/19 finding it through the app. Lovely beach location with great views. Noisy overnight stay with cars coming and going and quite windy. Plenty of spaces in nearby carparks for overnight stay recommended

We stayed here 25/10/19 finding it through this app. Perfect spot for beach visit but quite noisy with cars coming and going till late. Wind got quite rough too so moved further back to larger carpark during the night.
