speedracer27/10/2023Campers and motorhomes don’t really fit in the parking bays here so it not the most comfortable place to park as you will take two bays. The car park does get busy in the morning and early evening. It also has a little bit of traffic noise throughout the evening due to the odd car and then again in the morning. Saying that. It is a great position to the beach so we stayed a few nights.

close to the beach and supermarket 10 minutes away. construction starts at 8 so does the noise. leveled Park 200 meters from service area. definitly a better choice

loads of room for plenty motorhomes..10 min walk to wharf where plenty of restaurants..area is steeped in modern history with plenty to do.

Standen dort eine Nacht, direkt vor dem Museum. Schneller Zugang zum Strand und Museum - keine Dienstleistungen - aber man steht grade, nicht wie auf dem kostenpflichtigen Platz 200m weiter.

Good. Great for visiting the museum and beach nearby. Was very crowded during the day, there are spots for campers only but some cars do park in them. We stayed the night - it was very quiet and cleared out. There were trees at the back that gave some shade. We had a few other campers with us too! The space were parked in was at the slope.
jenjentenby05/04/2022Good, free, for visiting museum and town centre (20 min walk or free buses). It was packed in the day but clear in the evening. I moved on for the night to the port and I don't think i would stay the night here as busy and you would stand out a bit. I noticed others had parked opposite by some trees in a car park.

Wir haben hier geparkt, um die Stadt zu besichtigen. Keine Parkgebühren! Zu Fuß ist das Stadtzentrum in ca. 15 Minuten erreichbar.

Mainly level parking, great spot to walk to the beach area, no facilities but free to stay. stayed one night. road not noisy
