Place de stationnement assez grande avec une vue magnifique. Courte promenade à Bedruthan Steps et chemin de la côte SW. Pas de restrictions. Peut-être possibilité d'y passer la nuit.

Fairly large lay by with gorgeous view. Short walk to Bedruthan Steps and SW coast path. No restrictions. Possibly able to stay overnight.

Schotter. Kein Schatten.

Caravan is still there although less rubbish was seen. Maybe okay for a quick day stop but not overnight.

  • 1/5

Someone has dumped an old caravan in the lay-by and behind it has obviously been used by people parking up as the loo!!! There is loo roll and wipes everywhere and it literally stinks like an old men’s urinal - not recommended sadly!

  • 5/5

Beautiful views and lovely costal hiking path right next to the lay-by. Fairly quiet night. Slight urine smell on the side but you can’t smell it when you’re in the van or just walking about.

  • 3/5

Nice view but next to busy road and very exposed if windy. Lay-by is also get very beat out and riddled with potholes. Unless weather is perfect and you get here early enough wouldn't bother trying as space only big enough for about two maybe three medium vans at a push.

  • 4/5

Brilliant view , just a lay-by but there is plenty of exploration that can be done . Wasnt woken by loud or an abundance of cars either

  • 3/5

Parked here during the day, pleasant views. Please park perpendicular to the road like cars do, you can still see the sea out the back/front windows. Three vans taking up 6 spaces isn't going to keep the locals on side.

  • 4/5

Stayed the night here - all good until early hours of morning… locals beeping there horns as drive past, loud and long beeps :/ Other than that, great night sleep and a good spot :)

  • 4/5

Stopped here one night, couple of other campers also there. No issues at all and watched the sun go down over the ocean - beautiful.

  • 3/5

Stopped here for 1 night. Lovely view, we pulled up in our lwb van and were the only ones, however we were soon joined by 4 other quiet, considerate campers. All was fine until locals started blasting their car horns at us from 3am through to 8am, which made us decide to leave earlier than planned. Sadly Newquay way isnt as free spirited and welcoming of surfers as it used to be.

  • 4/5

It's a lovely little spot at the top of the hill. Room for 4-5 campers depending on how they are parked. View is beautiful. As its top of the hill you can hear cars struggling to the top and the odd upset local beeping.

  • 4/5

This exact postcode takes you to a NT car park that is pay&display / no overnight. Away from road so quieter & sheltered but no view. Access across fields to coast path. The actual layby is on the main road between this car park and another NTcarpark at Carnewas. Currently no access to beach & Bedruthan Steps as path down to them has collapsed; Check with National Trust website before visiting.

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot, quiet and no issues staying overnight.

  • 4/5

We stayed 2 nights, there were always 1 or 2 campers staying also. Near coastal walks to Mawgan Porth and Porthcothan as well. Beautiful view when parked, road isn’t too busy. only reason I didn’t give 5 star is just because any toilet was a 20/30 minute walk away & the locals do honk at you quite late and quite early as they drive through, it doesn’t bother us but may bother others.

  • 5/5

Pulled in early afternoon and accessed the coastal path via clambering over pulled away barbed wire for evening swim. No other vans until later in the evening - super beautiful with no problems staying the night at all! Advise bay park backing in to allow other vans in.

  • 5/5

Nice spot to stop. Please back in and park to consider others that may want to park here. Not long ways taking up 3 van spaces.

  • 5/5

Parked up early morning and walked to the NT car park from there. Had no issues, when we returned there were 3 other campers. I imagine it’s fine over night

  • 4/5

Stayed here 1 night with a few other vans, had no real issues other than a couple of cars beeping as they drove past.

  • 5/5

Stayed here on 22/6/21 & 24/6/21. Nice big lay-by with view of the sea from a distance. Room for 10 cars/6 vans. Fairly quiet with a few passing cars.

  • 5/5

Fab spot. Gorgeous view. Room for 4 or 5 vehicles. Walk 500yds in either direction on road to access footpaths to Coast Path. No paths serving the lay-by = no dog walkers frequenting it. No services, so arrive self-contained and leave no trace.

  • 4/5

Large lay-by with nice view. Note that you can get to the coast path near the campsite to the south but you can't get down bedruthan steps to the beach as they are closed due to a recent rockfall.

  • 5/5

Stayed here one night and was very peaceful. Amazing views during the day, stars come out at night. Recommend getting here early as it does seem a popular spot. Cliff tops are accessible via a short walk up the road and through a campsite, access seems available all year round. Stairs which lead to a secluded beach is also accessible through the campsite route (head left at cliff heads).

  • 5/5

Stayed here 1 night, didn’t get moved - no services but very very beautiful, and good 4G signal, so it’s also good to work during the day - not great if it’s windy!

  • 3/5

Stayed here for one night during the week. It's a large layby, very quiet and flat. I had no issues here. 4g is good. No toilets or bins. I probably wouldn't stay here if it was windy.

  • 4/5

Stayed overnight last week, 4 vans there. Noisy road but good pull in if you’re stuck

  • 1/5

Amazing views but can't stop here

  • 3/5

Beautiful view and spacious lay-by. But a man pulled up in his car at 9pm (the farmer presumably) and told all of us that this was a private lay-by and that he was sending the clampers on us tonight and that if we stayed we would get clamped. That didn’t happen, but probably not worth upsetting the man. Don’t know why he would mind the lay-by being used, there’s no house in sight but never mind.

  • 4/5

Great lay-by to stay overnight, no facilities or private areas. But beautiful views and sunsets. Tall campers be aware of winds shaking the van during the night.

  • 4/5

Great views. Right on the side of the road but big lay-by. Had no problem staying over night.

  • 5/5

Lovely spot with incredible views. Is a popular place so need to get here earlyish in the summer to get a spot.

  • 4/5
