Nice spot for one night, a short drive from Sligo town. We arrived late and left early. It was quiet enough with some commuter traffic in the morning.
Lieu de repos créé avec beaucoup d'amour au petit lac. Du parking, il y a quelques marches dans le bosquet sur le rivage, dans lesquelles 3-4 sièges sont dispersés. La circulation sur la route (routes secondaires en direction de Sligo) n’est pas gênante. Aucune infrastructure. Il devrait être possible d'y rester la nuit aussi. Il n'y a pas d'interdiction et pas de limite de hauteur.
Very lovingly created resting place at a small lake. From the parking lot, there are a few steps in the grove on the shore, in which 3-4 couples of seats are scattered. The traffic on the road (side roads to Sligo) is not disturbing. No infrastructure. It should be possible to stay overnight there too. There are no prohibitions and no height limit.
Sehr liebevoll angelegter Rastplatz an einem kleinen See. Vom Parkplatz sind es ein paar Schritte in das Wäldchen am Ufer, in dem 3-4 Sitzgruppen verstreut aufgestellt sind. Der Verkehr auf der Straße (Nebenstraßen nach Sligo) ist nicht störend. Keine Infrastruktur. Es sollte möglich sein, dort auch zu übernachten. Es gibt keine Verbote und keine Höhenbegrenzung.

30somethingnomads11/08/2021Easy to reach spot next to a busy road. There’s a picknick table and there’s the possibility to walk a bit around the lake. Good spot to have a break. Wouldn’t stay for the night though because of the busy road and the noice of cars passing by rather close.
