Three Nuns Bridges, free parking area by the side of the river ouse, a little bit of history here, the parking area is actually next to a old swimming pool that was part of the river, you can clearly see the outline of the old square pool, short walk into town via spring walk along the river, you can also find the Dad's Army Statue along the walk too. Also a short walk to Castle Hill if you cross the Three bridges away from the car park. Does get very busy during the nicer weather with people relaxing and cooling off in the river. If your lucky you might see the couple of Otters that love to hang out along this stretch of river, an awful lot of bird watching in this area too if it's your thing. I don't often see people sleeping here during the night.

Stunning spot! We were the only camper mid week, and only one or two cars came & went. Joggers and dog walkers but very quiet, the only other visitors were deer, swans, ducks, geese, squirrels and other birds. Friendly locals fishing in the river let our son have a try & beautiful walks, short walk into shops & town. Perfect.
A little gem so much to explore wildlife, history, perfect.
Stayed here last night ,was ok ,arrived in the afternoon busy with people coming and going,but quietened down later on . 2 more camper vans also stayed the night ..
A lovely free spot to sit by the river during the day and early evening. Although we didn't stay the night I'm not sure I'd recommend it as you are exposed to passing traffic and may attract attention from the local yoots!

Lovely place for walking. short walk to the town. lot of cars in and out over night but no problems. slept ok.
Stayed here on 2 separate occasions, feels very safe and quiet at night and an absolutely beautiful place to wake up! Great place to walk and paddle in the river!
No services but nice walks in nature. Busy during the day and overhanging trees restrict taller vehicles to about 5 places. A map at the entrance shows river walks an places to visit. Stayed one night no problems and felt safe.
