Camping près du ferry / port et donc juste en ville. Cuisine commune et salle disponible. Aussi une machine à laver et un sèche-linge (les deux avec les coûts). À l'arrière du bâtiment de la ferme (où la réception est également disponible), les toilettes et les douches sont (payantes) logées. L'endroit est tout sauf calme (allez et passez par les campeurs qui comptent sur le ferry). Cependant, c'est un bon endroit pour passer une dernière nuit avant le départ du ferry et bien dormir.
Camping near the ferry / port and therefore right in town. Shared kitchen and room available. Also a washing machine and a dryer (both with costs). At the back of the farm building (where the reception is also available), the toilets and showers are (paid) housed. The place is anything but quiet (come and go through the campers who rely on the ferry). However, it is a good place to spend one last night before the departure of the ferry and to sleep well.
Campingplatz in der Nähe der Fähre/des Hafens und somit direkt in der Stadt. Gemeinschaftsküche und -raum vorhanden. Ebenso eine Waschmaschine und ein Trockner (beides kostenpflichtig). Auf der Rückseite des Wirtschaftsgebäudes (in dem auch die Rezeption vorhanden ist), sind die WCs und Duschen (kostenpflichtig) untergebracht. Der Platz ist alles andere als ruhig (kommen und gehen durch die Camper die auf die Fähre angewiesen sind). Allerdings ist es ein guter Platz um ein letztes Mal vor der Abfahrt der Fähre noch einmal zu übernachten und sich auszuschlafen.

Wiese war etwas durchnässt, hat uns persönlich aber nicht gestört (Pick up Camper). Beheizter gemeinschaftsraum mit kochmöglichkeit und abwasch. Duschen waren bei und jetzt Ende September inklusive. Haben sehr gut geschlafen, war auch sehr ruhig.
Ein großes Problem auf Island sind die zuvielen Leute, die nur hier mal auf der Insel campen und sonst nie. Diese Leute kommen immer auf Kuschelnähe. Sie respektieren keine Privatsphäre und verhalten sich oft sehr rücksichtslos bis in die Nacht. Wir Camper wollen nicht von euch umarmt werden. In jeder Sprache gibt es das Wort Rücksicht und Privatsphäre! Respektiert das bitte!
Muy muy lleno cuando llegamos, tarde. Al lado del pueblo, donde había mucho ambiente. Las instalaciones esta mañana limpias. La gente respetuosa.
Toutes commodités sont là. Espaces gravillonnés a l’entre pour les CC. de l’herbe ailleurs. Toilettes propres. Ville agréable. Certes du monde pour attendre le Ferry mais dans une ambiance conviviale.
Full le mercredi soir, car départ du ferry le lendemain matin. Dans le village.
There is a big kitchen with 3 stoves and 2 sinks and about 6 tables with 4 chairs each. Enough toilets and 2 showers in each bathroom. Everything is clean. Just a bit crowded on Wednesday evening as everybody arrives there to catch the ferry.
Good campsite with flat pitches and clean facilities. Right in town.
Parking/camping cerrado en invierno. Se puede dormir, dejan el baño de minusvalidos abierto y con calefaccion.
Für schwere Fahrzeuge gibt es abseits einen neuen Parkplatz, auf drei Trassen angelegt in nördlicher Richtung. Dort ist nur Klo / Strom, mehr nicht. Im September waren nebenan tagsüber Baumaschinen im Einsatz. Bezahlt wird im Büro vom Campingplatz. Super Sicht über den Fjord, aber auch störende Akustik wegen der Hanglage.
Beaucoup de monde pour attendre45 le ferry, normal ! Accueil très sympa, contrairement à 2018 ! Des espaces gravillonnes, donc très stables, d’autres avec de profondes ornières juste accessibles aux 4x4, à vous de choisir ! La ville est jolie, les montagnes qui l’environnent sont impressionnantes, une vraiment belle escale avant de prendre le chemin du retour !
Lugar aceptable, no es para tirar cohetes pero si vas al puerto o quieres visitar la ciudad tarde no está mal. Las duchas son de pago y funcionan con monedas de 100isk o de 1€ aunque no lo dicen. Recuerda que se puede detener el agua caliente y se pausa el contador. Ducha/Shower: 100 isk = 2 mins 1€ = 2 mins
Good campsite near the famous church. Very well placed if you are waiting for the ferry. Comfortable kitchen but only a few tables and chairs. 100ISK for hot water in the showers. Clean toilets
We stayed here before the ferry last Wednesday. They have built a new aire some 500m away from the camping area. There are bins, two M/F toilets thats it. We paid Isk 3200 for 2 people (seniors rate), power connections are limited but as it was rip at Isk 1200 didn’t used it. If your over 67 your entitled to a senior discount at most sites so ask.
We came through in early March. The place was shut but the front car park was clear of snow and the toilets were open (the main kitchen etc wasn’t) but it was plenty for us. Very appreciated.
Ładna kuchnia z 6cioma palnikami to jedyne co oferował ten Camping. 4 czteroosobowe stoły, brak czajnija elektrycznego, fatalne prysznice (stan) dodatkowo płatne, w toalecie czasem brak papieru toaletowego. Miejsc postojowych sporo. +- położenie w mieście. Na piechotę można przejść się na miasto. Miły personel.

Nahe der Stadt. kein wirklich schöner Platz und am Fährtag total überfüllt. Duschen teilweise defekt. Waschmaschine kaputt kein WLAN
Teuer aber halt praktisch vor der Fähre. Haben für 2 Personen 4000 isk bezahlen müssen... kein WiFi („es sei halt noch nicht Saison“...!?!?). Toiletten am Nachmittag ohne Seife und Handtrockenpapier (... später am Abend dann alles aufgefüllt und sauber). Abwaschbecken aussen ohne Wasser. Warmer Aufenthaltsraum mit Küche und Tischen. Teilweise terrassierte Kiesstellplätze und Wiesenplatz. Zentral im Ort (Gehdistanz zu Supermarkt und Kaffees/Restaurants).

Small camping in the centre of the village. Nice kitchen, clean toilets and shower. Shower operates on coins. Have your own, or purchase from the administrator.
