Fantastic pub with very friendly staff and locals ,great food and beer and very reasonably priced. Extremely dog friendly. Lovely car park next to a burn,EHU and breakfast available.

skynet173302/08/2023Yep it’s tight,cars are parked opposite, so that would definitely cause problems if there are more than a couple of MH parked up. But pub is nice , food is good , pub shuts at 10 , cost me a tenner even though I had food in the pub , did have ehu, so maybe that’s the charge . my van is 7.5 m btw , I would come again as the staff were all good , biffa emptying glass bins at 6.30 not good though
6259625903/08/2022C'est une arnaque. En fait un nouveau camping s'est installé à 3m de l'entrée du parking du pub, et en voyant les places bien délimitées, on rentre. Un camping car + 2 personnes et sans électricité c'est 33£. nous nous sommes fait remboursés et repartis
Falafam19/07/2022Had a lovely meal here, very friendly and helpful staff and owners. Plugged in for £8 per night. No grey waste or chemical toilet facility. Parking at back of hotel over metal bridge from carpark New campsite next to it with all facilities

Had a lovely evening, staff are excellent, so friendly and welcoming. Food was lovely. Our motor home is 8.2 metres, no problem parking at the rear. Would definitely recommend and we will be back

Thank you everyone at the Horse and Hound Inn for a great meal and camping (VW Camper) in your rear car park on Sunday Night . Very welcoming and very comfortable on a wet night.

We stopped here on our way south. Found facilities as previously described.Food and staff were excellent. We were so impressed decided to stay again on way home. There may be a lack of a view however what's on offer definitely warrants a 5 star rating

Very nice stopover. Good traditional pub fare. Don't think you'd get a large motorhome in the smallish car park. For me, not worth 5 stars only because it's not a super special place. NB I think the coords shown are wrong! Should be N55.39996, W2.65528.

Excellent stopover for our first pub stopover, just 45 minutes from where we live, beautiful scenery,lots of history in this area, excellent food and welcoming owners and staff,will definitely go for and stopover at this pub/hotel. They have EHU as well if required.

Excellent stop over in our 5.4m campervan. There were several spaces at rear of pub with electric hook up and water for £10. The owner, who is also a motor homer, is hoping to have a chemical disposal facility installed in the future. Its free without the electric hook up. All they ask is that you use the bar or restuarant. Food very good, staff freindly and helpful. Would definitely use again.

Le parking est derrière le pub ..les propriétaires sont charmants et l'ambiance est au top ... Soirée autour d'une bonne bière écossaise à jouer au pool avec le patron qui est le boss au billard aussi ! Les dîners sont à prendre tôt maximum 7.30 mais le petit déjeuner pour 10 £ est extra et très copieux ...tres bonne adresse !
