lovely place to park up for the night, the coffee shop is fab, lovely breakfast at very reasonable prices, staff there were so lovely and welcoming, i will definitely stay here again if im in the area.

Perfect spot to stay in our LWB sprinter, plenty of space and was with 4 other campers here. Pretty flat and only a tiny bit of road noise but not noticeable ! Good night stay much better than the car park just before

definitely not "surrounded by nature". flat ground, nice place. but no privacy and a lot of mosquitos

Parking gratuit, garez vous tout à gauche et arrivée tôt pour avoir vue sur le lac. Un peu bruyant car à côté de la route et d’autres campeurs et voitures peuvent venir se stationner mais la nuit il y a peu de passage. Attention aux moustiques, nous sommes arrivés à la tombée de la nuit et n’avons pas pu faire le tour du lac car c’était envahi de moustiques/moucherons.

Prima overnachtingsplek! Evt ook plek om te water te gaan met een kano. Voor t uitzicht even naar beneden lopen!

Bel endroit à proximité du lac Loch Leven. Nuit calme même si on entend un peu le bruit de la route. Petite promenade au bord du lac. Avons pris le petit déjeuner au Loch Leven Coffee Shop avant de reprendre la route avec un très bon accueil

Peaceful location. Starts to get busy around 8:00am with dog walkers. I could see it getting busy around summertime. We were there in November and there were 2 other campers. Lots of space though and breakfast very nearby was a big plus!

Excellent free stopover and breakfast in the cafe was £15 for full English with drinks for two. not that you have to eat or drink there. They do ask if you could park before the cafe if arriving late or leaving early to make it quieter for people in the lodges pass the cafe. Very friendly and made to feel very welcome.

Great place to spend the night. Large flat area & very quiet. Plenty of space for numerous motorhomes. Right next to a coffee shop too where we had a nice breakfast.

Sehr guter Platz, es hat uns hier gut gefallen und wir haben toll gefrühstückt und sehr eben gestanden. Der See läd zu einem kleinen Spaziergang ein.

Quiet place for the night, quite level. No views of the loch but an easy walk to it. Not spectacular, but useful, quiet and with easy walks from the car park

Guter Platz für eine Nacht. Ist ein normaler Parkplatz, direkt an einem tollen See. Kein Seeblick vom Parkplatz aus. Es war sehr ruhig. Verkehr war nachts keiner zu hören. Außer uns nur ein weiteres Wohnmobil auf dem großen Platz. Wir würden wieder kommen ;-)

It’s ok but not amazing. Big open car park with bins and nothing else. View is of a hedge but a short walk along the path are great views of the loch and the RSPB reserve. Youths in Corsas turned up from 10 till 11 but were no bother. In the morning I put their energy drink cans and other rubbish into the bin they were parked next to!

This spot is actually called Findatie Car Park, right next to Loch Leven Lodges. Had bit of a mare finding it but now parked overlooking the Loch with cafe behind us where we shall have breakfast in the morning. Gorgeous free spot, highly recommended.

Great spot for a quiet night and great walks around loch. Parked in spot nearest campsite for a partial loch view. Nice cafe, friendly staff.

Boring ugly place full of white big rental campervans. Nothing like the description says. Very disappointing.

Had a quiet night, breakfast at the café and lovely walk along the Loch (keep dogs out of the water due to green-blue algae). No public toilet.

Got there and managed to get the loch view spot. The staff there are all lovely and explained as long as we are quiet after 10pm everything is fine. Lovely place to stop, lovely and peaceful and a fab 10 minute walk to the loch edge!

Some reviews suggest this is nothing of a special place. We found it to be perfect. large area, 3 motorhomes overnighting and none of us ontop of each other. easy to find, well located and away from the hustle and bustle. Do visit the cafe in the morning, for at least a coffee. Very friendly and good coffee and tea selection. Most importantly, a very sound nights sleep.

Easy to find. Quiet nights sleep. Plenty of space for a lot of vans with level pitches etc. As previous review stated far corner space has view of loch if you don’t mind a slight intrusion in the view. Loch walk takes five mins down and worth it. Breakfast In the cafe was fabulous very friendly staff. Small breakfast £5 then increments of a few pounds for bigger sizes to £9 for a large breakfast.

Big flat car park near to a stunning lake. No real lake's view from the parking except from the very last place, eventhough it's not the most lovely place. We had a great Scottish breakfast in the café. Great 4G.

Great overnight with views, and a very welcoming cafe for breakfast. Flat parking area and easy stroll to the lake shore. Road noise was not an issue overnight.

Great spot for a night. unless you get the ONE spot at the end of the parking lot its not very scenic but its still level, very quiet and a lot of space for vans and cars. do go to the cafe the next morning for breakfast. its very affordable and giving back to the community us so important for spaces like this one.

Beautiful spot with a lake view if you park at the end of the car park. lovely walk around the loch and no one bothers you, if you are quiet at night and not leave anything around the ground the people in the lodges are ok with you staying there.

Great spot over looking the loch.the only issue we experienced was someone staying in one of the lodges didn't take kindly to us being there.they'd clearly experienced noise and hassle before from campers and were frustrated that we were there. the warden paid us a visit and confirmed there was no problem with us staying there. no other issues after that. cafe opened at 9am in the morning

Nice free stay in carpark of Loch Leven Lodges. 400m walk to the Loch, cafe opens at 9am food and drink.

Excellent place to stop for the night. Managed to get the spot with the view as I was the only one here for the night. Nice for a wee walk about down by the loch. Spots for a picnic. Only thing to note is road noise and cars on the gravel car park but it’s barely noticeable and never disturbed me at all. Thanks for the stay! 5⭐️

Nice little spot, free parking and a cafe right in the car park. Unless you’re in the very end spot (was already taken) then there isn’t much in the way of views but it’s a 10 min walk down to the lake. Overall nice stay!

Very nice. A brief moment about 1030pm where some noise from some teenagers staying in one of the lodges. other than that very nice. Coffee shop opened at 0900 as well

Avoid the right hand path. It was washed out in the heavy winter storm during covid. Take the left hand one and switch back across the meadow towards the beach and the sluice house.

Beautiful area ! We very much appreciate being allowed to park and stay overnight here, Thank You !! We have a 8+m Motorhome and we live in it full time. A young couple with 2 small children also spent the night in hired motorhome who simply have no understanding of the dos and don’t’s of staying for free in an overnight spot and being in a paid campground. Ball games in the parking area, small children riding bikes down the grass hill into the car park, 4 chairs and table set up, to the point where embarrassingly, had to come out of the cafe and ask that the little boy stop riding his bike in the car park. This rude and irresponsible behaviour is why we see more and areas we enjoy discreetly banned overnight parking. Obviously this young family were celebrating a holiday after lockdown with little ones who had energy to burn. They clearly had no understanding how the cafe owner must have felt! They would enjoy themselves more in a paid campsite, without jeopardising others.This is a stunning place and I hope that it will remain as a free overnight spot !
