Schöner Platz mit 3 großen Feldern. Teilweise etwas abschüssig. Sanitäreinrichtungen sind ok, aber nicht gerade einladend! Für 1 - 2 Nächte machbar. Die Zufahrt zum Platz ist wirklich!!! eng! 2,05 m Breite ging nur mit eingeklapptem Spiegel!
KarinLeroy29/07/2025Er is alles wat je nodig hebt. Wel een beetje rommelig sanitair. Toch wel heel smalle toegangsweg . Douches te betalen maar met 1 jeton heb je meer dan tijd genoeg

Stayed 3/7 to 6/7/2025 Great site. Relaxed and informal if you don’t want EHU. Well stocked site shop. Dogs welcome, but not in field 3. Can be a bit slopey so make sure you have levelling wedges if you’re in a van.
wedgbc113/06/2025Fabulous site highly recommend. Stayed here in my Campervan 6-10th June 2025. Loved watching the steam trains go by and the walks straight from Woodyhyde. Showers are cleam, warm and welcoming after a day exploring, 50p token needed from friendly lady in on-site shop. Bus right by site straight to Swanage £3 each way or walk as I did via Worth Matravers and the S W Coast Path.

Ein wirklich grosszügiger Campingplatz mit englischem Rasen, Blick auf das Corfe Castle und die alte Eisenbahn dampft auch ab und zu vorbei. Die sanitären Anlagen sind warm und sauber und es gibt einen super ausgestatteten Supermarkt. Ich und mein Kater Tayfun haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Der Preis ist speziell für Alleinreisende sehr fair. Voll empfehlenswert!

Super Platz direkt an der Museumsbahn. Gute und saubere Anlagen. Preis-Leistung stimmt. Sehr freundlicher Staff. Duschen 50p. Enge Zufahrt durch Eisenbahnunterführung. Nicht für grosse Womos geeignet.
t4jude29/05/2024Really friendly staff, well stocked shop, great pitches, some on hard standing, some on grass. £12 for a night and £19 with electric. Shower tokens are 50p for 4 minutes. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here 3 nights, the shop is well stocked, friendly lady in the shop. Showers are Ok but 50p for 4 mins and you need a token. Great location for visiting the local coastline attractions. Plus the Swanage railway runs past the top field. Top sunsets too.

Well run site, but professional rather than friendly. Quite busy even in early May. Have to pay extra for a shower - only 50p (for a token, or£1 coin if the shop is shut) but seemed a bit mean.

12 £ pro Person pro Nacht, Dusche für 4 min 0,5 £ extra, Platz ok, Sanitäranlagen schon in die Tage gekommen, super Shop vor allem für Campingzubehör

Rang today on mobile off of website. Answer machine message says “not reopening until July next year”. Unsure if that is 2021 or 2022. Website doesn’t show it’s closed
BOBCABLE24/10/2020Right next to Swanage Ry but big enough to pitch away from the trains. Shop very well stocked. Free WiFi works well. V narrow access through a rly bridge. Coach built of std 2.30m width are ok as long as you can fold in your mirrors. Standard 2.30m wide A class with coach mirrors will not get in. It really is that close. Otherwise DO go as it's a super place.

Lovely campsite, it’s massive, little shop, great views and toilets and showers were clean
clentbiker17/05/2019Woodhyde Campsite. 3 large fields with about 20 hardstanding places for MH. Not many level places for non hookup so blocks are needed. One new shower block with 50p tokens for 4mins. Older toilet block is adequate. Access tight. See picture. Vans ok, coach-built you need to bring one mirror in, A-Class probably not suitable. Spent 5 peaceful nights there in May. 40 bus just a 20min Walk

Pretty site right beside the heritage railway line. It is licensed for tents and motorhomes only.
