God sent. We’d planned to stay at Stoer Lighthouse but it was (quite literally) blowing a gale. All the coastal sites were in the teeth of the wind. This place provided just enough shelter to give a relatively peaceful night. Didn’t hear any vehicles until the morning. No dear either. Oh. And the view… I don’t mention the view. Jaw dropping. The happiest £5 donation I’ve made :)

très belles vues. emplacement inégal, faut donc corriger parking bondé le soir avec plus de 7 vehicules garés en tous sens. des campeurs qui adoptent des comportements non respectueux du site, de la nature et des autres en stationnement, emplacement magnifique mais a fuir compte tenu des comportements. nombreux ne payent même pas le stationnement.

Vue incroyable avec des cerfs, attention terrain en légère pente ! Très calme, de la place pour environ 5 campings cars

We stayed here with the intention of sleeping. Unfortunately, it is on a slight slope, and due to snow and wind we ended up moving down into Lochinver at midnight. The wind was so loud and blowing the van that we couldn't sleep. If not for bad weather it would have been fine.

Stopped around 5pm and a few cars still stopping taking pics. Great night not many cars. Deers however were numerous and vocal! was like being on Kashyyyk . Woken before dawn by numerous cars parking and photographers climbing hill for Sunrise. It was beautiful but awful early. I will definitely be back.

Excellent stop over. Road noise drops after 8pm. Spent the night with 2 motorhomes. Views are amazing, take litter away with you and don't forget to donate for staying the night

Parked here many times, never stayed the night. Got to be one of the best views in Scotland. If you’re heading north the road is challenging but very rewarding. There used to be a really nice brass plaque with details of the view till someone stole it. Please look after and respect this special place.

een buitengewoon uitzicht, plek voor minimaal 4 campers, schapen rondom de plek. De view op de bergen is geweldig, al met al top. Geen service, wel rust en natuur

Clachtoll Viewpoint carpark - one of our favourite stopovers due to extensive views (when the mist cleared) and only a few miles from Clachtoll beach which we visited in the morning. A popular spot for taking photos, but after 8pm and before 8am it was very quiet. Definitely worth the £5 donation.

Spectacular view so busy whilst tourists out and about, quiet at night. Well worth the honesty box £5 for overnight stop. Sloping but sortable.

superbe vue sur les Moor. parking en bord de route. un peu de circulation en journée mais rien de dramatique et la nuit super tranquille. la boîte rouge est en place et on y a laissé notre obole.

Lovely spot and amazing views. There was a tiny downhill slope but not noticeable. Didn’t stay the night. Donation is a cash box. Thanks to all letting us stay.

Support the friendly Crofters Trust I left my donation even though I didn't stop overnight. I'll go out of my way to pay £5. Such a special spot.

La vue est magnifique mais c'est quand même très en pente. Les voitures passent vite. Pas l'idéal pour dormir.

stayed here in Sept 22, a lovely quiet spot off the beaten track, room for about 3 campers, its a bit tight to turnaround if others are there, but pretty easy to reverse into.

Excellent spot with a fantastic view. Despite the fact Assynt Crofters Trust have a sign saying that overnight stays are welcome, we were told by Highland council ranger that RTTs that take up more than the footprint of your vehicle were not permitted and that we couldn't cook outside. As long as you can do everything from within your vehicle, then you will be fine! £5 donation is recommended.

Een slaapplek met een 5 sterren uitzicht! formidabel! Moeilijker om recht te staan en geen faciliteiten maar een top locatie. Na het stilvallen van het verkeer is het heerlijk rustig slapen.

this spot was great - amazing views, saw some red deer and bats at dusk. beautiful..many midges though! there is a slight slant in the car park so some vans might be on a slope

Nous avons passé une nuit très calme à cet endroit, qui fait partie d'un réseau d'emplacements « Geopod » qui présentent des panneaux d'information et bénéficient d'une bonne couverture de réseau internet mobile, pour aider les visiteurs à planifier leur séjour. Nous n'avons pas été embêtés, au contraire. La dame qui est passée le matin pour vider la boîte à donations a été absolument charmante.

Super spot. Avons eu un souci avec un ecossais fou de rage qui a pris en photo l’immat du CC et qui suite à ma sollicitation nous a dis qu’on avait qu’à aller au camping que ce parking était privé et qui refusait d’écouter mes arguments Il tremblait de rage et est parti sans vouloir que je lui montre park4night……alors on est parti avant même de faire donation donc…dommage. Ai laissé un mot

Stayed here one night. There was a motorhome and a car with a couple sleeping overnight. No facilities but that's okay and a Iight slope which isn't an issue. The view is amazing and it is halfway between two stunning white sand beaches.

Absolutely stunning view when the weather is good. I managed without levellers. No bins so please take your rubbish with you. Lots of people pull in to take pictures. I stayed 2 nights. First had about 5 vans on the car park, the second night I was the only one.

What a view! Had the place to myself. Slope not a problem with small vehicle but can see how it would be with a larger one! Camping overnight welcome with donation. Excellent location. Loved it!

Fine for one night. Very sloping, would be fine if you have blocks but if you don't (like us) expect an uncomfortable night worrying about your handbrake!

Very busy here last night, every inch of space taken up! Everyone friendly and quiet though. Amazing view of Suilven etc. We got the spot at the end early, but had to double chock for the slope! Donation left.

Perfect spot now you can’t stay at Clashnessie beach thanks to thoughtless morons leaving litter. As always, leave no litter but do donate.

Love Love Loved it here, had a fantastic night it was silent all night, we shared the carpark with 1 other motorhome, dont think one of the locals are massive fans as he went past early honking his horn to wake us up, joke was on you tho we had been up half an hour drinking coffee and having breakfast we left a donation in the box as requested to the land owners who where local crofters,

We arrived around 6pm and there were already 3 other campers but space for us too at a push. Not level as other reviews say but it does have a little bonus as there is a little lake over the hill for a quick swim. Fab spot

Lovely and peacefull place, once the day traffic stopped and great view. They want you to give 5£ and that is quite fair I think.

Great view, peaceful at night, even though it's close to the road. But definitely better if you have blocks, place is not level.
