Quiet night. No food on a Monday, but will be under new management in 3 weeks!
L'hôtel Cygne. Charmant pub de campagne, bonne nourriture et bières. Le gentil propriétaire doit prendre un verre ou de la nourriture pour passer la nuit et cela en vaut la peine.
The Swan Hotel. Lovely country pub good food and beers.Nice owner must have a drink or food to stay the night well worth it.
Das Swan Hotel. Schönes Landgasthaus mit gutem Essen und Bier. Der nette Besitzer hat auf jeden Fall etwas zu trinken oder zu essen, die Übernachtung lohnt sich.
El hotel cisne. Encantador pub rural, buena comida y cervezas. Un buen propietario debe tomar una bebida o comida para pasar la noche y vale la pena.
L'albergo del cigno. Pub di campagna delizioso, buon cibo e birre. Il proprietario gentile deve bere qualcosa o mangiare per passare la notte, ne vale la pena.
Het Zwanenhotel. Mooie landelijke pub, goed eten en bier. Aardige eigenaar moet een drankje of eten hebben om de nacht zeker de moeite waard te houden.

Chubs313310/02/2025Super stopover for one night on the way back from South Wales to the South of England. Proprietor was great. Stayed on a Monday night (food is not served on Mondays) and had a couple of drinks from the bar. Old traditional pub with warm atmosphere. There is some traffic noise in the evening but nothing too over aweing. Would stopover again on another occasion.
JaneLowe14/06/2024Perfect stopover just off the A34, peaceful night. Food very average and slow service. Table booked for 6.30 and received our food just after 8pm. Sadly not what we wanted after a long drive and ferry from France. Very friendly bar lady who was on her own and rushed off her feet.

Very disappointing. Had meal in pub. even though not many customers service slow. waitress forgot our drinks. Ceasar salad as main course was a bowl of lettuce cheese shavings dressing and slices of baguette. Pointed our to waitress salad not as it should be. She had an unprofessional attitude. chef didn't come out. no apology. would not return.

Great pub amazing food and lovely owners, Ben the barman is an asset and Pete the gardener is a wonderful character every pub should be like this.

What a place, perfect. The staff are super friendly, within minutes of arriving you felt like a local. Food and beer is very good. Parking is plentiful. We were having some mechanical issues and they couldn’t have been more welcoming and supportive. East to find, great location.

Great stop over. Unfortunately we missed the food being Sunday but the landlord pointed us in the right direction (pub across the road). Very pleasant staff in The Swan, few drinks and a very quiet nights sleep.

Nice owners, decent pub food. We had steak and ale pie and they served us after last orders (we did ring up first) Had old fashioned games for the kids which they loved. They paid attention to the kids which is important. Very pretty lit up from outside. Lots of parking enough for a large (double space) Motorhome towing a boat!!! First time using the app too.

Brilliant location lovely quiet park up. Staff so very friendly especially with our dog. Went over the road to the crown and horns for food which was also dog friendly food delicious. As swan wasn’t serving food on a Monday night. Came back to swan for a drink before bed. Definitely be back

What a great pub, lovely family run pub. Very friendly and accommodating. Although we didn't eat we saw enough food coming out and it looked great, some pickled eggs behind the bar would have been great, lol. Only slight grumble, but we are light sleepers, was the traffic noise. But what do you expect being on a major road, will definetly be going back. Can't recommend enough.

Arrived at 9:30pm and bar staff very friendly. One night stay not a problem so we had couple of drinks because no food was being served. Would definitely stay again.

We called ahead to ensure there was space. Was welcomed with open arms, had a meal and a number of drinks (was going down well) the carpark slightly leans towards the road but hardly noticeable. Amazingly friendly staff who came and had a chat with us. Was able to sit in the outdoor area in the evening by the carpark having a drink whilst the kids slept. Would highly recommend.
schip27/07/2022Op doorreis van harwich naar Ierland. We kwamen om 23.00 uur aan en de pub was nog open. Pint gedronken en de eigenaar gevraagd of we mochten blijven staan. Hij was heel aardig en we hebben een rustige nacht gehad. Aanrader.

Stayed overnight in the pub Carpark & had a meal in the pub. Really friendly people, nice food and quiet area. Car park flat and pretty village to walk round.

Stayed here for one night unfortunately would of stayed for food but was too late landlord very friendly very nice and welcoming place .
pmsi9217/06/20191 ère étape en Angleterre avant de monter en Écosse, arrivés un dimanche à 21h, accueil très sympathique des patrons du pub, dégustation de bière avant de choisir celle qu'on désirait, pas de service de restauration le dimanche mais avons une bonne soirée à discuter avec les propriétaires dans un mélange de francais-anglais. Parking plat et calme la nuit

Really friendly welcome. Stayed on a Sunday night, no food on but we joined them for a drink. Offered water to top us up. Car park flat and a nice little village to walk round. A little road noise but didn't worry us. Would use again.
