endroit calme la nuit a proximité du village ou on peut se rendre à pied par une balade en bord de mer. belle vue sur les montagnes. Toilettes propres bien entretenues. Tondeuse du golf en face le matin vers 7h dans notre cas. Nous le conseillons.

Arrived 8pm - golf club traffic, dog walkers etc. not picturesque but plenty of space toilets closed 9.30. Noisy car until 10.30 but all quiet after that. Toilets opened 8.30am or thereabouts. Sheltered spot very good- just walked along beach with a coffee available here too!

Great spot, quiet, lovely outlook and clean toilets (closed 8pm - 8am ish). 10 mins into town. There’s a laundry in town to at the servo

Très bel endroit, au calme face au golfe et à la mer. À deux pas du village. Toilettes ouvertes la journée, fermées dès 20h30. Endroit recommandé.

Loved this place. Yoga by the sea, kids play park, short walk into the town and there's loos! Sadly, we had some kids throw fireworks towards our van on one of the nights we stopped, but it didn't spoil our time here!

stayed here last night. wow! we parked by the toilets and we have a key for the disabled toilet which was very clean. there is a coffee kiosk here in the next bay. lovely park up. we walked over into the golf club 2 mins walk and had a lovely meal, very reasonable, lovely food and service! we plan to return here.

Very peaceful spot. i stayed on Saturday, and there was no one around after about 9 pm, and i felt very safe being there alone. It's right beside the beach, and i could hear a very rough sea crashing all night. The Coastal cliff walk starts right by the parking spot. The toilets were closed the whole time i was there

Excellent park up. Popular with locals walking past and a few cars parking up to walk along the beach. Quiet after 10pm until about 7.30am. Toilets were closed when I arrived shortly after 5. Easy walk to a village where there are a few pubs, shops etc. Someone mentioned poor signal on o2 but I have 2 bars with 5G.

We stayed here last night. Extremely quiet spot with public toilets available from 8am - 9pm (ish) and right next to a beautiful beach. We would advise to park nearer the toilets if you want a queiter morning sleep in, walkers arrive from early and use the lower section of carpark. tap in disabled toilet worked for us too. Great spot, we will be back. Poor phone signal on O2

Quiet level spot for day time parking and/or overnight. No cars from 10 until 7am.....a few early morning golfers after that. Very close to the beach and adjacent to the golf club which serves food until 8. 5 minute walk to the village which has pubs, a couple more restaurants/cafes and a large Spar.

Great sheltered place to stay, quiet and just next to the beach. Fantastic food in Golf Club, Harry's and Hawthorn and Rose.

Nice quiet spot, to shelter from last nights wind. Overlooking the beach- with the lovely sound of crashing waves. Toilet locked at night. Only one other here but felt safe enough.

amazing overnight stop. we were the only van here. a local came over chatted for ages to tell me places to visit and said its really safe. felt really welcomed. sea is a stones throw away and lovely listening to the waves. it's sheltered so although really windy it's fine. toilets are clean and open late.

Ein schöner Platz mit Zugang zum Strand,Spielplatz und Wanderwege es ist ein beliebter Ort der einheimischen deshalb auch ein kommen und gehen so nach 22.00 Uhr war es still wir hatten eine schöne Übernachtung dieser Platz ist auch Wind geschützt

Fab spot! Really close to a lovely beach for a paddle/ dog walking. Highly recommend the Layde Church walk along the cliffs - beautiful view over Cushendall. Friendly locals everywhere too! Toilets were closed 8pm-9.30am overnight in September.

Good stop for a night, stayed here with about 6 other campers. Very quiet during the night, but busy during the day as locals park there to go to the beach. Toilets are clean, closed during the night.

Only commenting on day time parking, but nice deep bays, no problems parking at all. I arrived early on a Saturday morning for a walk along the coastal path with the dogs, and met some very kind and chatty locals! Everyone very friendly. Toilets ok - dated but working. If I was passing through overnight I’d be happy to stay here. Good signal in Three/SMARTY.

Very pleasant. Public toilets which are locked at night. A local told us the boy racers used to frequent this place but have moved on. Close to the town centre and there is a lovely short walk along the coastline. A very comfortable stay.

beautiful spot. we were only camper there, sound of the waves. I was wakened at 2am with I assume a drunk walking home and then again at 3.40am with a car pulling in, I assumed for a pee stop. passengers were very loud but only stayed 5 mins and didn't come near us. I'd stay again, we were maybe just unlucky. it is beautiful

Lovely quiet peaceful freedom camping spot. Very friendly locals, golf course looks nice but you have to book first on BRS. Stony beach but nice for a walk, also highly recommend the cliff-top walk to the ruins of Layd Church. Nice coffee shop in town called Cove but watch out you don’t get charged the “tourist price” as we were. Nice historic town in a beautiful part of the world.

Great one night stay, plenty space although not flat. Toilets locked at night, disabled needs key. Peaceful gravely beach, kids play area, coastal path.

We bezochten deze plek ivm volle campings vanwege de feestdag. Stonden dus met vele andere campers, dit leidde vermoedelijk tot enige irritatie bij locals die al toeterend voorbij reden. Kon erger… mooie plek, alleen niet vlak. Erg dichtbij strand, golfbaan en speeltuin. In dorp pubs en andere faciliteiten. Prima plek! Respecteer de plek aub :-)

stayed here for one night with another MH. very quiet had a good night's sleep lots of cars during the day but didn't bother us. beautiful views of the sea, golf course, short walk to village, lovely coastal path walk. litter bins and very clean toilets available, there is a water tap in disabled toilet.

Great spot for free parking overnight and incredible views of the bay and golf course. Short 5min walk into town for pub and food. Was down a quiet road, so felt safe and was quiet. It is next to a toilet block, however this was locked from around 10pm to roughly 8am. So no overnight facilities.

Do not park overnight leading up to Halloween. Parked 14th oct and 6 youths lit rockets at camper terrified for 20 mins. Said going to light up camper. Found numerous dead rockets around this morning and one unlit at back step. Street lights, speed bumps, clean toilets and bins. Nice coastal walk. Golf traffic up to 9.30pm. Then from 8 am.

Just off beaten track enough shelterd from wind some good walking on coastal path .5 minute walk to town .

Deserves a 5x rating. Quiet and very convenient for the Shore and coastal path.

We stayed here 11/9/23. Great location, lovely walks along the beach prominade or the coast path. Friendly locals. No golf club cars from 9pm to 07.30 am, we were alone through the night. car park is well lit, a lovely peaceful night sleep with the low sound of the waves on the beach.

Emplacement pratique à côté de la plage et d’une aire de jeux. Toilettes propres qui ferment le soir. Poubelle sur place. Beaucoup de va et vient de voitures pour le golf (uniquement le soir et le matin).

Parcheggio molto tranquillo alla fine di una strada chiusa con accesso al golf club e alla passeggiata a bordo spiaggia . Toilette a disposizione .panorama fantastico.

toller Platz zum Parken und Nächtigen, nachts ruhig, um 8:00 Müllabfuhr, dann viele Hundespaziergänger... 10 min in den Ort (Pubs Restaurants nicht bedonders, Harrys ist gut aber teurer) Direkt am Strand, Toiletten gut sauber!

A great spot very close to the beach. The toilets were locked when we stayed. It was nice and quiet through the night with three other vans. The beach is lovely and we could even see the sea from the van!

DE aller schoonste toiletten ever: naast golfbaan ( 18 holes £20 ) ( met heerlijke douche) en aan strand :) gewoon een top plek!

Nice spot right at the beach , noisy daytime with lots of cars coming and going, nice coastal walk to layd church ruin . toilets and trash cans but nothing else. Good for a lunch stop

Spent a quiet night here. Playpark and beach popular with locals until it gets dark, then just a few cars to and from golf club. No direct sea view from the van, but very close.

spent our first night here in our camper, there was a wedding in in the near by golf club. but all quiet by 11pm. beautiful in the morning with the sound of sea waves. there is public loo's, but no water tap. lots of fly's with the trees behind us.

Avoid this place. Had fireworks fired at our van and local boys being loud. The town is a bit of a dump, I would just pass through on the way to somewhere nice.

Ok during the day, but definitely one to avoid at night. Never felt safe with volume of traffic and a bizzare £70k BMW driven by a youth. His mate leapt out to film him driving slowly with interior light on. Makes of that what you will! Lots of boy racers about. There's much better options close by.

Flat, close to beach. Very noisy! People go drinking on the beach and make a lot of noise. Cars going too and from golf club etc. Might be quieter during the week. But will do if you can’t find anywhere else to stop. No one bothered us, but it was noisy!

Great place, quiet, beach, play area, not to far to walk into town with pub and supermarket. Toilets free - closed overnight

Quiet spot at night. Busy with locals late afternoon and early evening. Public toilets closed overnight but open early in morning. Next to beach and golf course. Helpful caravan park nearby for drinking water refill to water tank.

Très belle aire de jeux clôturée pour les enfants, poubelle et sanitaires sur le parking ( propres et fermés la nuit). Village très convivial avec une fête le soir de notre passage. Jolie vue sur la mer. Les table sont pratiques, l’endroit est propre.

Nice quiet spot for an overnight and cassette drop. The walk back into Cushendall is not far. The cliff walk to the Layde Church starts here as well. Some passing traffic for the golf course but otherwise excellent.
