flat parking, but only for a couple of smaller vehicles. quiet and nice views and grassy area for walking the dog. 4g signal. closest toilet at Belmont ferry.

Parking of the castle of Muness. Road in dead end so calm. The castle small but historically interesting. It has only 2 castles on the island of Shetland.
Parkplatz Schloss Muness. Sackgasse so ruhig. Das kleine, aber historisch interessante Schloss. Er hat nur 2 Burgen auf der Insel Shetland.

Small parking spot, requires level ramps, good for one night. Not suitable for large vehicles. There are a couple of other spots where to possibly park not far from the castle, although they are not official parkings. Entering the castle was not possible as the door was locked.
dobbydan27/09/2020Nice spot right next to the castle (castle currently locked due to covid). Also has views over some fields and the sea in the distance. 4G signal, no facilities but toilets at Belmont ferry (or Gardesfauld though currently closed for covid).
