The previous comment is very unhelpful and has been posted on many of the parking spots around here. we moved on after reading this bit checked with the tourist information in Canazei. they said that there is no such legislation and we are free to park anywhere by the road just no in towns. the proviso being that you stay in your van and do not erect tents awnings etc.

Très beau spot avec une grande étendue d'herbe, des tables de picnic et la vue sur les montagnes. Malheureusement en plein mois de juillet le trafic était intense et a repris dès 6h du matin.
Gran explanada para que puedan jugar los niños y mesas de picnic. Muy ruidoso a partir de las seis de la mañana. Mucho tráfico en la carretera que pasa al lado.
Lovely free spot to park for the night. Right on the road so a little noisy. Huge picnic area and paths through the wood for a dog walk. Very flat. We would definitely stop here again

We only stopped here to grab a geocache. A beautiful spot, was very peaceful with 4 picnic tables on the grass area.
Ruhiger,schöner Ort, nachts fahren nur wenige Autos auf der Straße, sodass es ruhig ist. Kein Wasser vorhanden, aber viele schöne Picknick Tische, auch unter Nadelbäumen auf flacher Fläche.
Parcheggio in piano, vista top, purtroppo al mattino presto c’è subito molto traffico e lo spot è proprio prossimo alla strada. Nel ns caso c’è stato anche il bonus di ripetuti voli di elicottero proprio sopra la ns area, dalle 7 dormire è stato impossibile
Parfait pour dormir avant d’aller au sassolungo. Voitures la journée mais presque aucune la nuit et nous avons très bien dormi. Poubelle sur place.
Bellissimo posto dove dormire la notte! Area camper e furgoni con giara a lato della strada delle Dolomiti, dietro di essa un grandissimo prato con svariati tavoli e panche per mangiare! Unica cosa dato la vicinanza ad una strada importante, verso le 8 si può sentire il rumore d’auto!
Lloc tranquil durant la nit, passen molts cotxes la resta de dia. Molt agradable el prat i les taules.
Vam passar tarda i nit dues furgonetes i ens en vam trobar dues més. Petit però gran prat al costat amb taules de pícnic i molt bonic. Una mica de soroll de cotxes fins la nit i a partir de les 8am. Una micona de desnivell però poc significatiu.
One of my favourite spots in the Dolomites. Near to road but very quiet at night and you have beautiful views. Always busy with vans. Bin available.

Posto tranquillo a bordo strada, pianeggiante e vicino a un area Pic nic, bellissima vista. Dormito una notte con maggiolina, nessun problema

Bien pour 1 nuit. Grand parking en bord de route mais plutôt calme (pas bcp de passage la nuit). Grande clairière avec tables de pique nique et vue montagne
Wunderschöner Platz, ruhig und sicher. Bitte behandelt den Platz gut damit dort nicht eines Tages auch ein Verbotsschild für Camper steht, wie auf anderen Plätzen in der Nähe.

Beautiful spot, 2 minutes walk from the snack/bar at the cable car stations on the Sella Ronda route. Peaceful until about 7.30 am when the normal mountain traffic starts for the day
En bord de route, mais relativement calme la nuit venue.
Magnifique endroit face aux Dolomites. Nous étions 2 vans et 2 voitures mais la cohabitation s'est très bien passée. Un peu boueux à certains endroits. Nuit très calme. Il manque une petite fontaine d'eau.
Bel endroit un peu isolé avec tables de pique-nique.
