Abbiamo parcheggiato qui e visitato il monastero che ha degli interni veramente molto belli. Abbiamo dormito qui due notti, chiedendo il permesso, anche visitando la città di Arad che ha una bellissima cattedrale. Confermo che anche a dicembre la fontanella dell'acqua funziona e si può tranquillamente collegare il tubo. Silenziosissimo la notte a parte le campane che suonano alle 6 del mattino
We didn’t stay overnight, just came to visit the monastery. The place looks very calm and safe. We filled our water tank too.
Nice place for a quiet night on the parking in front of the monastery. We kindly ask permission to stay over the night. Toi lest and water available, lot of flat places, clean and no noise.
When I arrived late at night there was a chain across the entrance, 26/07/2024.

We asked permission to stay the night and the person we asked said no problem. A few trees in a flat car park gave shade and as others said, until 8pm, the chants/prayers were broadcast into the car park. Toilets were open, we parked next to them. No barking dogs which is a first for our Romanian travels.

Uns hat es hier richtig gut gefallen. Wir waren das einzige Womo. Gegen Abend kamen PKW, Leute die den Gottesdienst/Abendmesse besuchten. Um 20 Uhr war dieser zu Ende und die Auto fuhren nach und nach weg. Wir waren dann alleine und haben eine sehr ruhige Nacht verbracht. Morgens um Punkt 6 läutete die Glocke. Wir haben eine kl. Radtour gemacht.
This place seems nice but for us it was quite creepy. It is quiet, far away from civilisation but very dark and there is only one in and out. We came late at night. We were alone at first, but after 30 minutes a small silver car parked right next to us, when there was the whole parking lot empty. We did not feel safe and left the place afterwards.
C'est tranquille, mais ce que nous ne savions pas c'est qu'il y avait une messe diffusée sur les haut-parleurs situés sur tous les pylônes du parking, elle a commencé à 17h et s'est terminée à 19H30 !!! Le matin à 6H les cloches se sont mises à sonner durant plusieurs minutes (certainement en guise de réveil matin pour les prêtres) puis silence jusque 8H et la messe a repris comme la veille !
Miejce ciekawe, ale nie do końca bezpieczne. Są WC i umywalka. Przez pewien czas wieczorem cicho. Późno w nocy w tygodniu najpierw drift na parkingu, później podejrzany typ w starym czerwonym VW golf przyjeżdża raz po raz i sprawdza, czy wszyscy w kamperze już śpią? Nie czuliśmy się bezpiecznie, odjechaliśmy o 1 w nocy w inne miejsce. Za murem piękny klasztor, szkoda że nie udało się przespać.
Nous avons passé une nuit ici. Nous étions seuls, l'endroit est très calme. On entend le chiens loin dans le village et les cloches du village à 6h00 du matin :).

Nice parking. Quiet night. Toilet dirty. Do not go on a religious holiday! They broadcast mass into the parking lot. 3 hours last night and so far 1 hour this morning with no sign of ending soon.
This is the most fantastic stop, we had the car park to ourselves. we parked under the walnut tree and have been having a few fresh nuts. delicious! There is chanting over the tannoy in the early evening and again from 6 am to 8 am but it's lovely. It's part of the appreciation of different lifestyles. no security concerns, easy to get to, highly recommended
Perfect parking. Quiet. Nice surroundings. Lovely convent/monastry.
Nice parking, toilets available. Through a sounds system you hear prayers on the parking during evening and in the morning but its not disturbing. Free entry in convent.
