Truly beautiful spot at the end of a long single track road. Places to park and a nearby field for tenting. In Summer 2025 there were nearby bins for rubbish and recycling. Midges were hell but views and river/sea loch were worth it.

Super Platz am Ende einer Single Track Road. Bitte auf dem Weg dahin nicht in Pasing Places halten oder parken. Größere Wohnmobile werden es euch danken. Der Platz selbst ist wunderbar und die Internetverbindung minimal vorhanden.

Amazing sights on the drive down there, single track road with passing places. Not Very level ground in the parking area. Didn't stay the night but the drive down there were worth it just for the views. Drive carefully!!!

!Bitte parkt NICHT an den Passing Points an der Straße, auch wenn sie auf PFN als Parkplätze eingetragen sind! Achtung beim Parkplatz am Ende der Straße; 1. Aktuell ist der Weg hierher wegen Straßenarbeiten tagsüber teilweise gesperrt! Es ist nicht einsehbar, wann und wo geteert wird, also Geduld mitbringen, da man manchmal warten muss 2. Aktuell sehr! viele Midges unterwegs

Single Road, mit unserem 7.4 mtr langen Teilintegrierten ohne Probleme machbar. Standen auf dem hintersten Parkplatz und hatten gegen 14.30 Uhr, montags, Glück einen Platz zu bekommen. Platz ist extrem gut besucht. Denke am späten Abend sind die Chancen besser, als tagsüber. Traumhafte Lage mit Möglichkeit, am 'Strand' zu liegen. Als Dank für den tollen Platz, sammelten wir ne Tüte Müll ein. Top.

Spot incroyable beaucoup de place arrivée vers 15h balade autour du lac ! La route est petite et serrée mais beaucoup d’espace pour laissé passer les voitures d’en face donc niquel ! On entends les brame et on voit les cerfs et élan spectacle sompteux !

A decent 40 minute drive down a single lane (with passing bays) but we managed in our 8m motorhome. Would have been happy to stay further back along the road (but not many other spots to be fair). Road workers were there at 7:30am on Saturday. The end of the road is closed during the day at the moment, but you can turn around, or camp at the carpark just before the closure sign too.

Beautiful parking/camping spot with bins right by the loch. The road is currently closed part the way down from 8:30am-5pm. We waited at the parking up the road until highway maintenance left and then went down for the night.

Kostenloser Parkplatz mit Müllcontainern. Die Midges sind natürlich je nach Wetter aktiv. Man ist mit wenigen Schritten am See. Diemstagabend bei Regen und starkem Wind war es kein Problem mit unserem Wohnmobil hier zu parken. Insgesamt waren 4 Wohnmobile und 2 VW Busse auf dem Parkplatz. Standen leicht schräg, aber das ist kein Stellplatz, sondern Parkplatz, daher beanstande ich das nicht.

Very nice and quiet place

Magnifique endroit pour une nuit. Attention aux moucherons et surtout aux tiques, c'est envahie en mai ! parfait pour découvrir les images des films Harry Potter.

We wanted to drive skyfall road and to find this at the end of it! Amazing! We were expecting snow overnight but this was lower down so whilst we didn’t have any, there was plenty driving back along the road on the higher areas. LNT.

Stunning location! Busy in summer periods but still worth the stay . Stayed November and very quiet . Long drive off the A82 (aprox 10/11 miles ) at end of road on left . The drive in is just as breathtaking.

Langs de weg hiernaartoe zijn veel mooiere kampeerplekken dan deze parkeerplaats. Geen zicht op het meer. Veel midges toen wij er waren. Wij zijn terug gereden.

Das Tal und der See sind eine sehr schöne Umgebung. Der Platz an sich ist von Bäumen umgeben, sodass keine Sicht auf den See möglich ist. Die meisten Stellmöglichkeiten sind ziemlich schräg. Es waren sehr viele Mücken unterwegs. Ziemlich stark frequentiert.

Het is een parkeerplaats voor wandelaars, daar wordt ook 's avonds nog veel gebruik van gemaakt (zolang het licht is). Erg rustig, mooi uitzicht, door de bosjes wat beschut en geen direct zicht op het meer vanuit je camper. Wel op de bergen. Veel plek, geen bereik. De route er naartoe is fantastisch mooi!

A long drive down quite a narrow road, although we managed fine in a lwb transit. Beautiful location right by the water, although we struggled to find a level spot. No signal.

Amazing spot. Car park has room for about 10 campervans. Very short walk to waterfront. No traffic at night as it’s at the end of a dead end road. Road in is single track with passing places, very narrow at parts. Wouldn’t recommend taking anything over transporter size van as passing places are small.

El camino es largo pero precioso.nosotras no encontramos sitio plano para dormir en este parking pero era realmente bonito por la cercania al lago. dormimos en la propia Carretera unos kms adelante y fue una gran noche.

Possibly our favourite place to stop off grid no reception with stunning mountain views and a loch. space for at least 5 best in autumn less traffic.

Après 20 km de routes un peu cabossée, ce parking est une vrai petite merveille. Calme au cœur de la vallée et à pas du lac. Il y a même des poubelles. Déconnexion totale. (aucun reseau)

30 seconds by feet to the Loch Etive. Very nice you can sit down on the rocks and look at the view, eating. There are midges at night but not in the morning probably because of the sun. 6 places available, no services, we arrived around 8 P.M and found a place. Showers are available on the road (Lomond > Glencoe direction) at a ski station. The road to get there is a single track, drive carefully!

The drive and view near car park was stunning but the drive was very long and bumpy and we were lucky to get a space during the summer holidays. Lots of family cars in parking places along route who were tent camping. If it’s peak season prepare for business! Please be mindful of leaving space if parked in a parking place (most say no parking) as it makes it very difficult to drive when busy!

Une soirée, une nuit et une matinée passé dans ce superbe spot avec un camping-car de de 6m de long. La single route est un peu longue pour laisser le temps de se croiser! Mais ça en vaut vraiment la peine! La vallée est superbe et le spot tranquille avec quelques biches venues se desalterees au lac le soir venu! Toute la famille a adoré! Je recimmande!

A quiet night here after a stunning drive with just one other van. Right by the beach and loch with beautiful views and plenty of bins provided, but no mobile service. Unfortunately, there was evidence of dirty campers with toilet paper on the grass beside the car park. Leave no trace !

Probably would give higher stars if the weather was better. quiet spot, lovely loch and deer. we didn't realise the road was a dead end so sort of just ended up here after the long drive down. James bond skyfall road, very pretty. flat spot with shelter, bins also!

Emplacement superbe au bout de la route qui mène au lac. Très calme. Nous nous sommes mis à l'abri des arbres et n'avons pas été gênés par le vent cette nuit-là. Nous avons passés une très bonne nuit.

Would be good spot if quiet. Unfortunately on New Year’s Eve, many car campers. Lots of noise as tents being set up late, fireworks, etc. It’s a long drive to risk the car park being full. As others have commented, better to pick spots along the road if available.

Parfait spot, tout au bout d’une route (single road) qui finit en impasse. 50mn de route quand même depuis la route principale, mais ça vaut le coup, les paysages sont incroyables. Juste un van et nous ( nous avions deux camping-car), au bord du lac. Nous conseillons c’est top

Lovely place to stop, this is a car park at a slight angle but good rocks around for sorting it out. Amazing views to be seen, spent some time on the water with the kayack. The road is single track and takes patience to get here but worth it.

Challanging but rewarding drive down the „James Bond road” with great spot for camping. Can be a bit busy but many alternatives available if full. Good place for wild swimming.

Long drive down a one lane road, which end up in a small car park, full when we arrived - prob 15 cars parked. There are numerous spots along the road - especially at the start next to the river that are probably better.

Amazing views. Car park was busy but no noise except the deer.

Busy on the weekends with mostly tent campers (we stayed first week of September). It was windy but surrounding trees provide some shelter. As others have mentioned it does slope slightly. During peak times of the year I would prefer some of the smaller parking areas on the route to this spot. We did stay here for one night mostly due to other spots being taken and this car park offered some shelter for our roof tent.

Amazing views to wake up too in the morning, plenty of room for about 8 campers in the car park. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive to get to it with some good waterfall views too. Be prepared for the midges as there were millions of them!!

Great place

Carpark quite quiet only another two vans (Dec 19) absolutely stunning scenery and view over Loch Etive a few deer down for a drink early morning! Peaceful nights stay!

Slightly sloping but a wonderful spot to stay ! There were 3 motor homes with us. Gets busy during the day and at sunset with photographers.

Visited Feb 2019 and October 2019. In Feb, I had it all to myself. In Oct, there were just three of us. It’s an AMAZING place. You just need to catch it at the right time of year for visitors. The quieter it is, the more enjoyable it is and the more it comes alive!

Busy car park, lots of people camping on the weekend. 3 vans, 4 cars (tents) on a Friday in August. So the little car park was almost full. Wouldn't recommend and overnight stop here. Garbage containers available. Deer watching place.

Très déçu, l'endroit est très beau ainsi que la route pour y aller en revanche 26 juin, l'endroit est très prisé des touristes anglais, ça n'arrête pas de venir et de repartir, pas de tranquillité, on a juste mangé. Il y a des containers pour les poubelles.

Spent a night here on April 29th 2018. Amazing views with dears and birds. Camping is all the way at the end (about 45mins from the main road). There is 1 ‘exclusive’ spot about 200m away from the main parking area. Try to snatch that one ?
