Food was enjoyable Staff very friendly we felt very safe … shame the local council aren’t more supportive of these schemes

Pub car park excellent food proprietors name Dave kids play area outside and monkey play area inside I think there's a charge on the monkey play area inside I stay there every time I'm up near Filey in motorhome.
Pub-Parkplatz, ausgezeichnetes Essen, Besitzername Dave, Kinderspielplatz im Freien. Ich halte an, sobald ich im Wohnmobil in der Nähe von Filey bin.

Had a meal (was nice, home cooked pub grub). Last food order 8 and the pub closes at 9. Gates are locked then until 8.30 the next morning. Car park is on a slight slope but nothing too bad

We stayed 1 night , parking is free if you used the bar . We had a meal which was ok . Gates were locked after pub closed and we had a very quiet night . Would use this stopover again .

A lovely welcome, it was Easter holidays and they were very busy. However they still found time to make us feel welcome. We bought a few drinks ,the food was lovely, Would definitely use again.

Stayed here last night, great food, very friendly and helpful staff. Gate locked overnight, very safe and secure. Great nights sleep, highly recommend, will definitely be back when in area.

stayed here for one night, was planning on having food here but arrived too late and kitchen was closed but we had drinks and crisps and staff were very accommodating and said we could stop overnight. the gates to the car park were closed around 10 p.m and opened early (about 6 a.m) felt very safe and secure and is a great stop over for any travels on the east coast. I will definitely come back.

Clean safe quiet . Beautiful views. We parked in the back corner. Had a few pints. Loos close with the pub and not open til 12. Midday. Very friendly and helpful staff

Fantastic home made food in the royal oak inn very dog friendly and let us camp in there car park for free too

Stayed for one night. The food was very good and all home made. Everyone was so friendly. the indoor monkey play area is fantastic at £3 each, very helpful to keep the kids entertained on a cold night. free stay in the car park when buying food.
