Welcome to Boa Hora Eco Project — a peaceful, family-friendly eco-camp nestled in a quiet rural valley in the hills near Loulé, in the heart of the Algarve. We offer flat, open pitches for campervans, caravans and tents on our land, surrounded by trees, birdsong and the beginning of something beautiful.
This is a community project in its early stages: restoring land, planting permaculture gardens, and building a space for connection, learning and natural living. Your stay directly supports that vision — and invites you to be part of it.
Up to 4 electric hook-up points are available on flat, open pitches. Outdoor showers and toilets are on site, along with a shared outdoor kitchen with a wood-fired pizza oven — perfect for shared meals and slow evenings in the open air. You’re welcome to meet the chickens, goats and dogs that call this place home, and families with children will find a small outdoor play area too. After dark, the quiet valley setting and low light pollution make it a wonderful spot for stargazing — look out for bright constellations and the Milky Way on clear summer nights. Wi-Fi is available, but unplugging is very welcome here.
We’re 15 minutes from the charming hilltop town of Loulé and 15 minutes from Alte, one of the Algarve’s most beloved inland villages — home to the stunning Queda do Vigário waterfall and natural river beach. The 10.9 km Pinhal das Colinas de Tôr hiking loop starts directly from Parragil, right at your door, and Rocha da Pena and Fonte da Benémola nature trails are both within 20 minutes. The Algarve coast and beaches are also 20 minutes away, Ria Formosa Natural Park is 35 minutes, and Faro Airport is just 30 minutes.

Ein wunderschöner Ort zum Ankommen! Wir fühlen uns hier sehr wohl als Familie! Es hat Ziegen und Hühner und in wenigen Minuten sind hier wundervolle Badeorte und Ausflugziele zu erreichen. Sehr zu empfehlen - ob Familien, Solo-Reisende oder Paare jedes Alters!
