La vue est superbe, mais attention au vent, nous avons été secoué une partie de la nuit.
Grande zone avec un certain nombre de zones de stationnement gratuites le long de la route
Very quiet spot, no cars at night, no insect as it was windy. Ground nesting birds and sheep so dogs on leads.

noaleach09/07/2023amazing views over the landscape, awesome scenery. Quite exposed so wind felt intense but fun! Flat enough, no phone signal. Very quiet, next to a road but you could barely hear the cars come past (and they really didn’t come past often, such a remote road), so not an issue! Bit of a climb to get there but not too bad.

large flat gravel area with stunning scenery. very quiet in the evening and night, great place for star gazing on a clear night too.
therigler07/05/2023Great, quiet, peaceful night. Did a circular walk up to Great Shunner fell and down into Hardraw and back. Nice pub and cafe in Hardraw
Laumi10/05/2022a very beautiful spot, but due to heavy winds we couldn't sleep well. the van was shaking and we were afraid our roof window could blow open. roads up and down the hill are 25% steep.

Stunning spot. Large near-level car park with amazing views. There are park ups either side of the cattle grid. Had a few people pull into the spots and stayed for an hour or so but other than was a very peaceful night.
prejocle16/09/2019Der Parkplatz neben dem Viehgitter an der Straße ist eben und mit einer grandiosen Rundumsicht. Etwas windanfällig.
