Stunning spot. I was the only one here overnight and the view and sunrise were incredible. Quiet, but I arrived late so missed the traffic on the road. A few teens pulled up and played loud music in their cars but were gone soon after. Lots of space to get sorted in the morning, have breakfast & make a coffee etc. a bit of rubbish around but no bin, so picked up as much as I could.
The view is stunning but would stay over night here. Extremely busy road, boy racers with motor bikes, and cars raced all night up and down. Parked here also with loud music ect. Stop for a photo op but wouldn’t recommend staying. Stayed 10/08/25
Beautiful view, few boy racers and youngsters hang out there, as you'd expect I have no problem with that, as I used to be one. They'd all left by midnight. No bin which is a shame. Would definitely stay again for a night as passing through.
Stayed for 1 night on a Tuesday evening. A lot of noisy vehicles till around 2200. Nice and quiet in the morning. Lovely views and walks close by.

Lovely big lay-by, plenty of room for a wide van. Quiet and dark, some noise when cars go past really fast and seems to be on a flight path as a few planes went overhead. Really amazing views, great spot for the night!
Just arrived, 5pm on a Saturday and fairly busy with cars and motorbikes but I expect it will quieten down. One other camper-van. Fantastic views.
Beautiful views and layby is very wide , we could open our doors and still nowhere near the road. Sheep here will cross the road and you can see and hear them. The road does quieten down apart from a few racers. Unfortunately we did have a group of teenagers stop to hangout here for the night, they were chatting very loudly right next to us into the early hours, probably just a one off though.

The only reason for a 4 star no bin or toilets The view is amazing and a bit noisy but not enough noise to say not stay again The noise stops around 2230
Great spot with great views plenty of parking spots a few boy racers about but after dark was silent
Decent little free layby, we pulled up here and had some dinner and took the dog for a little wander. A few loud cars around but didn't bother us and when we wanted to sleep it was all quiet. Nice little place to stop off

lovely night. View was great out of the side if thr van, cars passing frequently enough in day hours but alhad a quiet nights sleep. Some sheep milling around added to the experience!
Lots of space for parking. We stayed in a motorhome overnight and it was perfect. Only a few cars passing at speed overnight.
struggled to find anything in Llangollen with my motorhome, then came across this lay-by, were staying the night, should be pretty quiet, views are amazing, star gazing will be to die for! fab spot, room for several motorhomes.cars going past pretty quickly but hopefully it will be quiet at night
Stunning views!!!! Semi quiet road on one side with huge vase scenery and the a hill on the other side! Parking sign so allowed to park there room for quiet a few to park large and small! Good find!!
Fantastic view, probably some good routes to walk along the moors in the hills but not too great for overnight as cars tend to race by at speed, causing both noise and the van to rock.
