despite previous comments as it was a horrible night and chucking down with rain I stopped here rather than a plan about 20 miles south of Calais. got a space no problem and had no issues, with a good selection of bars and restaurants nearby. arrived 9pm and left at 5.30am for the ferry so not a huge stay but was just perfect for what I needed.
Zona muy concurrida y mucha gente controlando a los usuarios. No recomendable pasar la noche. comimos y nos fuimos.
Very busy, a lot of people walking by and talking loud at night. Also some kind of scooter streetrace, with a lot of noise. If you like a good night sleep, i would not recommend this place to stay over night.
Parkplatz ist okay für eine Nacht. Der Lärm vom Verkehr ist kontinuierlich aber erträglich. Der Platz ist gut beleuchtet, wir haben uns die ganze Zeit sicher gefühlt.

We read the reviews and thought to give it a go anyway the night before our ferry ... well we had 3 men try and break into our van at 11:30pm and another lone man try again at 3am. it seems this is a very common occurrence here and i would not recommend if you want to have a good nights sleep. the only upside is that it is super close to the ferry terminal

CAUTION!! Attempted to stay here for the evening prior to Eurotunnel crossing, noticed a small group of guys walking around the parked cars multiple times, attempted to sleep and had our door handles tried in an attempt to open the van! Did not feel safe and moved further out of town.
I was in my van and a group of migrants tried to break in. They also were banging on the windows and trying the doors. i banged back and they started rocking the van and laughing. As a single female traveller it was scary. İ then climbed into the front and drove off

Indeed a very convenient location however we were woken in the early hours by people tampering with the gas locker and scooter on the back. Thankfully the alarm stopped them but they kept returning so we moved. I will be using the waiting area at the port in future.
Gute und kostenlose Lage zur Fähre, die 8 Minuten entfernt liegt. In dem Ort, der Fußläufig liegt, kann man sich in diversen Lokalen versorgen. Unsere WOMO mit 6,5 Metern hat in die Parkbucht gepasst.
We stayed here on 2 occasions, a fortnight apart, in July. Beautiful sunset & besides general noise of traffic & surrounds it was fine. Second time we did not feel safe. A lady approached our van and appeared to be signalling something to someone further away. When we made eye contact she stared at us bizarrely before dashing away. We decided to move about 1km up the road to the other side of the fair where we felt much safer & slept well.

Parking sur le port, prés d'un bassin avec jolies vues sur le trafic des ferries. Emplacements non définis. Proximité du centre ville et de la gare maritime. Aucun service disponible et assez bruyant.
